I've been using organic flaxseed oil for massage for about two or three weeks now and have started getting small red bumps (almost like heat rash). Has anyone else had this problem with flax oil?

Have you been using enough oil, also how fast are you rubbing your breasts, it sounds like it could be a result of too much friction on the skin.

Flaxseed oil oxidizes VERY fast, so I agree with Katana, it doesn't even need to be friction, just simply too warm of air when using it. Flaxseed oil is used as a drying agent in wood treatment because of it's rate of oxidation, they have to be careful with it because misuse causes chemical fires that are insane.

Thanks for the info Katana and AbiDrew85! Wow. I had no idea it oxidized that fast.. I guess I could experiment with using a bit more of it since I haven't been using very much oil for the massages. I don't massage "fast" as such.. about 2 seconds per rotation. But if I decide not to keep using FSO, which alternative oil would you ladies recommend as being the next best thing? I really hate to give up on the flaxseed, only because I seem to be getting better swelling since I switched to it.
But I also don't want to deal with bumps continually..

Macadamia nut should also be good to try. Macadamia nut is one of the stablest plant oils, it doesn't oxidize very quickly at all. While it doesn't have any properties that directly benefit NBE per se, it does have several beneficial properties for skin in general. Same with almond and coconut oil on the skin properties. I don't know how almond is for oxidation, but coconut is also a very stable oil.

I'll probably go with coconut oil for a while since I already have some in my pantry
, see what happens and then possibly switch to macadamia later. Since you both sound pretty knowledgable and I'm just a rookie, do either of you have further suggestions for maximizing results from massage? I'm planning to also add the Noogleberry to my massage routine soon.

I've only been massaging for a couple of months. I've had great results by doing a mixture of different massage.
It's all about seeing what works for you, the oils and massages one person does could be less effective for somebody else. It really is trial and error.
I am in the process on making a guide about massage, should be done by the end of the month latest

Thanks Katana. I too have only been at this about three months. But I've noticed getting a bit better results with a combination of Deer massage and Chi massage, twice daily. What types of massage are you using?

I use deer and chi as well. I also added in something I kind of made up myself. It's almost like fat brushing. It's a little difficult to explain as it suits the shape of my breasts as they are kinda long but might not work for others
