Short answer: pumping definitely help, but I think supplements improved the results!
Long answer:
I think my results came primarily from pumping. Two/three years ago, I pumped twice a day (or 4 hours straight) five days a week (I don't recommend this, especially if it's painful. 1 hour 3-5/wk is fine)
I tried Bovine Ovary w/ kelp before and had minimal growth (but it ruined my menstrual cycle, periods were super painful and long, and I had body hair everywhere). Soon enough, I shrunk and took it off my regime. I gain back my results (and more within a month)
However, when I was pumping so insanely, I used collagen/MSM. It made a great difference in my growth.
Now, I'm not using Collagen/MSM but I may add it soon. I don't now only because my diet already supplements that.
I'm considering adding it because I'm a college student so it can get pricey to buy things when the school cafeteria doesn't have what you need.
I'm also using SurferJoe's creme, Nattybust. I think this helps me balance my hormones which help retain my results. Not only is it great for massaging and noogling, I think it grows pretty well on it's own, even without the meal/supplement recommendation (but expect slower results).
