MSM makes own collagen but....

I wanted to know more about this. I knpw ALOT of ladies are using Collagen and MSM with their NBE routines. It is said that MSM makes your body produce collagen, but what if the "collagen" goes to ur thighs or butt and not ur breasts?
The thing is PM, BO, NB, herbs, creams stimulate your boobs to grow but i dont get how collagen or taking MSM can help with that growth in the breasts? I would think the collagen will go everywhere to ur body.
I would appreciate if someone can help this fool *points to self*
understand better!
Has anyone seen results with collagen and MSM?

I haven’t used either but I have eaten a lot of gelatine scene I started using my homemade pump. I used gelatine with the understanding that it is the same as collagen/is collagen but I found it to be a fraction of the price of collagen supplements.

I would say not you cant target where your body puts things, if we could I would imaging lots of us here would tell our fat to go to our breasts lol. But I believe the gelatine has made me keep the growth I have had from pumping even after I stopped for a month. I pumped for about 6 weeks got busy so my nbe has gone down the pan but I haven’t lost everything I gained they are meaty and I believe the gelatine is what kept it as 6 weeks is too short for anything to have stuck otherwise. I really have no medical grounding had been thinking about it and i thought that maybe the gelatine filled out my breasts maybe because my body focused on filling in the tissue as it was being stretched. I also noticed other things like my hair and nails grew super fast and cuts healed quicker in the time I was taking it so I think the body targeted it to parts of the body that demanded new cells/repair like the stretching breasts. Equally I think if I were putting on weight or working out muscles then the gelatine would have been put to work doing theses things too but actually I have not been exercises but have been losing weight so I haven’t got a bigger bum or anything.

Maybe on a herb based program you would experience growth in other places and not where you wished it because it’s not the same sort of growth.

I hope an expert comes gives you a real answer because this isn’t one really and I would like to know too.

That's already much more than I would be able to contribute to this thread Smile

But have you noticed how many prominent (no pun intended) ladies on the forum report tingles immediately after taking collagen powder? For gelatin and MSM, the effect will be slower, because the body first has to make collagen out of them. But the tingles suggest that collagen does something to boobs.

Time for a gelatin/MSM/collagen roll call?

Hey Maz, thanks for the info and your personal experience, i am happy you have maintained your growth, one of my biggest concerns was how to keep the growth and not lose it, i havent grown yet because i just started on BO and will add NB soon to my program, its great to hear something can help with maintaining!

Thanks for the info, i guess i am just worried that the collagen will go to my stomach or somewhere else unwanted!
I think ihave to experiment and try for myself, i will buy the MSM, but you mentioned collagen powder, do you think that it is more effective than collagen capsules??

I don't know if it will be more effective, but it will be considerably cheaper. So it will be more cost effective anyway.

I think that many include MSM in the NBE regime because it is a supplement with many beauty claims. I've been using MSM powder for about a month or so and believe some of its claims are true. Brief summary on MSM health claims:

MSM helps our bodies absorb more nutrients: vitamins and minerals. Increase oxygen availability to the body. Increase energy. Helps the body eliminate toxins including lactic acid build-up from strenuous exercise. Dramatically reduces recuperation time from strenuous exercise and long hours of work. MSM, together with Vitamin C (a free radical scavenger) helps the body build healthy new cells. MSM, along with Vitamin C, helps reduce scar tissue and wrinkles, and helps keep the skin more elastic. Helps the hair and nails grow stronger and faster. Improves mental alertness. Helps eliminate allergies. Reduces headaches, cramps and muscle pain caused by hormonal imbalances, for example, PMS. Relieves constipation. Helps reduce and even eliminate snoring. MSM helps reduce eye membrane irritation (when MSM in a water solution is applied).

Hello,

I'm taking msm and collagen too, only because I think that if I'm asking my body to grow I think it will help.

But yes, I don't really want it going straight to my bum either!!

There are lots of girls on the forum that want a curvier bum and the NBE methods seem to be helping but I've got plenty already I think!

So my solution has been to get a crosstrainer - got a second hand one from eBay, and aim for 20 mins per day, every other day.

This will help keep arms legs bums n tums toned but I dont think will lose weight, providing u keep ur heart rate high, so that you are not in fat burning mode.

NB if u do buy a second hand machine, check it's put together safely Shy

Interesting about gelatine, I do think if we can get some of these factors from foods, I feel the results may be more secure than just pills - I don't know, it's not backed up by any scientific knowlege, just a feeling!

AFAIK collagen supplementation was to promote a better shape and perkier boobs. So they stay upright and sag less when they get bigger.

Fish collagen + HA is what I have purchased in the past. But plain old VIT C also works well too.
