Odile, To have to listen to the older women in your family bragging about their big boobs..how annoying! Was that the only thing they thought they had going for them in the looks department I wonder? Yeh, the sight of all the dream avatars of over sized implanted breasts here, when it's a sight for NBE It looks more like a male fantasy perving sight!
You're right about plastic surgery driving the obsession for melon sized boobs. First strippers and porn stars got them, then actresses like Pamela Anderson, glamour models(which I used to be), and now a lot of pop stars think they can't be rich and famous without their always visible fake gigantic jugs e.g. Nicky Minaj, Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera. So the bigger is better idea reaches the women in the street while the plastic surgeons rake in millions.
Both rude boys and girls at school made insulting remarks about my boobs. In my late teens men made most of the comments so that's why I got implants. But I even got some insults about having fake boobs as well!
We're the only mammal that has enlarged mammaries when not lactating (weird), and their size and shape causes a lot of us so much grief. I wish boobs didn't exist at all!!!
