PM Side Effects Glossary

#1

This is the official thread where everyone can post their side effects from PM. I'm getting some nasty side effects that scare me sometimes so I thought this thread could help others so they don't panic, like I do sometimes Big Grin. So here it goes:

1. Severe stabbing lower back pain before period.
2. Painfull throbbing of my left temple that went on and off
3. Mittelschmerz: lower abdominal and pelvic pain during ovulation

Since starting PM this month for the first time on day 1 that my period came I started with 1 capsule and I cried a lot and become sooo moody that if the wind even hit me the wrong way I was irritated and quick to snap at my husband and not to mention the headaches on the left side near the temple like u stated but after my menses all of those symptoms disappeared but nearing my ovulation I would wake up with lower back pain and pain on my side as if I ran a marathon but as soon as id brush my teeth and do my morning routine the pain subsided. I'm currently on the luteal phase and not taking PM but am waking up with headaches so it seems like I took a lot of PM so today I went over to whole foods and bought some progesterone cream hoping it would curb this nagging headache. That's my experience so far I hope it helps : )

Nausea, severe dizziness/vertigo, and vomiting all with the side effects in the OP.

I experienced this when I took PM while menstruating. Sad

Complete loss of libido. But it's back since I stopped taking the capsules. I mentioned this already in other posts but I think it's a good idea to make a thread only on this topic.

Highhopes - I was also VERY moody on my first month (and still am but trying to control myself) I think I posted once that my phone was flying all over the place when I had an argument with my bf. When I read your thread It's like it's been written by me...we're side effects twins lol

@adrianna its cool to have someone with similar symptoms so we can try different things and share what has worked for us.

On my luteal phase I'm noticing my estrogen is tipping the scale since I started bleeding again today. I'm cutting out all herbs on the luteal phase cuz I think the PM was strong and I need to let my body reset itself.

@boobquest yes the PC cream worked at curbing the headache I didn't realize by taking the herbs I was overloading my body with estrogen. Today I started bleeding and vented on the general board. I rubbed on more PC and the bleeding is getting lighter again ( I'm not due for a menses till the 27th of this month ).

To add on PM side effects: It might leave u high on estrogen after stopping it for luteal phase making herbs alittle much overload on the body especially if you start off balanced hormonal wise. So next cycle I'm taking PM and nothing during luteal. I hope this helps someone like I have gotten help reading around on here : )

adrianna23: Im on the new ainterol 500R1. I want to switch to siriporn since ainterol is wild PM they cant measure the amounts of deoxymiroestrol or miroestrol in each plant and since the amounts are inconsistant they dont list it on their ingredients...so you never know if your getting to much, too little or any at all.
