So, I slept in my corset last night. I've decided that since I'm going to be going on a PCOS diet, I might as well get hardcore into corsetting again to see how far I can get by the end of the year.

I'm only two inches from closing my corset right now! I measured after tightening my corset this morning, and I've got it at 24" on top of the corset! That makes my under corset measurement 22"! This is by far the smallest I've gotten it yet (normally my over-corset measurement is still the same as my regular waist measurement). It's VERY painful right now, and I may end up loosening it in a bit, but I'm just glad that I could get to this point already. So far I've permanently cut an inch off my waist from corsetting 8-12 hours a day (and skipping some days due to work), and I've only been in it about two months or so! Hopefully between hardcore, 23/7 corsetting and dieting, I'll be a 24" waist by the new year, and a 23" waist by summer. :3

My waist has already been shaping up more and more on its own, and honestly, it looks fantastic. Blush I'm STILL not as thin as I should be naturally, but that's where this diet comes in. I'm hoping to hit and keep a 40" butt again by the end of the year, as well (and my ultimate goal of a 42" butt by summer)!

I just updated my corset progress (or lack thereof) in my program thread, and I realized that some of what I wrote should probably be transferred here. The post in my program thread is stupid long, but to make a long story short, I'm having a lot of trouble with wearing my corset during the day, and I need to switch to wearing it only at night. Luckily, I don't find it all that difficult to sleep in. I'm switching to a different waist training method to make up for all the lost day time hours. Here's the bit copied from my program thread update:

I'll try to explain how it works. Basically, you start off with a 2 inch reduction and then follow a two week cycle, starting with only 2 hours per day, and finishing with 8 hours per day. You even get to take one day off per week. After that, you only reduce by 1/2" per 2 week cycle. For beginning waist trainers, it supposedly gives the same amount of reduction you would get by doing 23/7 training (about 1" per month for the first few months), but it's much easier and more convenient. Here's 3 weeks worth of a sample training plan for a 28" waist copy/pasted from Romantasy's site:

Week 1-Mon.,Tues.,Weds. - Measure over corset 26 inches and wear for two hours; Thurs.,Fri.,Sat. - Measure over corset 26 inches and wear for four hours
Week 2-Mon.,Tues.,Weds. - Measure over corset 26 inches and wear for six hours; Thurs.,Fri.,Sat. - Measure over corset 26 inches and wear for eight hours
Week 3-Mon.,Tues.,Weds. - Measure over corset 25.5 inches and wear for two hours; Thurs.,Fri.,Sat. - Measure over corset 25.5 inches and wear for four hours

Romantasy says that the roller coaster method doesn't work for more advanced waist trainers who have already reached a fairly large reduction. That means that I'll eventually have to switch to a 23/7 schedule. For that I'll probably need to switch to some kind of waspie (a narrow corset that's still wider than a corset "belt") because it can be easier to hide under clothes and allows much more freedom of movement. At the same time, it can't be too narrow or it'll apparently have all the same issues that a long-line corset has under clothing (odd shape, tummy bulge), plus the additional problem of the pain from too much pressure distributed over a smaller area. I hope I hit the sweet spot next time I buy a corset. I can't wear a waspie yet because even though I'm not that fat, I'm too weak and soft like a marshmallow, and my flesh will just squeeze out like tooth paste along the top and bottom edge Dodgy I've been working on finally getting fit. Let's just hope I stay committed and don't embarrass myself. Next year, that waspie will be my reward to myself, hopefully along with a much bigger new bra Big Grin

BonitaDD, your starting measurements are similar to mine except that you have much bigger boobs Tongue Do you have any idea what style of corset is easiest to wear with pants and jeans without it showing? I'm having a big problem with my long-line corset.

Doll, I almost forgot to congratulate you. You are doing so much better than I am. I wish I had your dedication.

try with waist high slim pants to hide corset bumps experiment with wearing them under or over depending on corset type I wear short cincher corset don't know name because I don't want my busts squashed and my hips dont fit anything hip lengthwith a small enough waist size I also have a short torso.

also girls you can't compare to surgeryaholic women like Megan fox or celebrity measurements because they'll exaggerate slightly.

Wow, you look great! I still can't close my 20in corset yet because of my wide ribcage. :/ So your ribs must be a lot smaller than mine (when I corsetted down to 22in, the pain was all in my ribs, which became the reason I had to loosen it). Ultimately, rib size will determine how well people adapt to a corset. That's why larger, squishier women will be able to go through sizes so quickly. I think that's also the reason I haven't gotten a suppressed appetite. Since my ribs prevent me from closing my corset too much at the middle, it isn't affecting my digestion the way it would on someone experiencing a much better reduction.

And Darenzia is definitely a tightlacer. I couldn't find many shots from the photoshoot from the show, but you could definitely tell from other angles that her ribs are shaped from corsetting. It's very unnatural, and very sexy. Her 20" waist is also what makes her 34" hip measurement look much larger. I also don't know why that last corset on her really doesn't reduce either, it actually looks like it bulks up her midsection...

@mocha
I have trouble wearing it during the day sometimes, too, so I understand. I've gotten used to wearing it during work, but still can't wear it if it's a day I'm doing a LOT of bending. I've grown to love 23/7 corsetting already, even though I haven't been wearing it quite every night yet (although close to it). My corset gets really itchy, so when I take it off at night to put on PJ's, I rub lotion and Cortizone 10 together on my stomach and give it a second to dry. I get a lot less itchy at night and don't have to worry about waking up in the middle of the night to peel it off. ^^;

Let us know how the Romantasy training method works for you! As I've said, my wide ribcage is the reason I can't corset any smaller, so 23/7 is probably the only way I'll be able to more quickly see results. Le sigh. Good luck to you! I want a waspie next time as well. I love the shape, and it would be great for my short torso (although I'm still holding out hope that this one can help lengthen my torso just a little bit before I wear it out!)

Since I've begun 23/7 training, I've noticed my ribs becoming sore again when I take the corset off. I'm not seeing any changes in the tape measure yet, but that may still mean that my ribs are getting ready to shift some. That would be fantastic!
