Health Risks of bovine ovary

#11

Hey IttyBittyJane,

I'm glad we may have been able to help you in some way. I have only started BO myself about a month ago and have since been doing research trying to figure out the whole BBT and thyroid thing. I agree it IS confusing and thre is not a whole lot out there on it, and certainly NO professionals will give any reasonable advice. Yes, I was given teh same thing too (plastic surgery is your only option) when I dared to tell my doctor about it for the sake of getting my hormones tested in a blood test. It is pretty frustrating. My doctor even released me as a patient because she wanted nothing to do with it. So, now I have no doctor. Oh well, she wasn't that good anyway Dodgy

I read your post and then noticed that the extra edit I made to my last post (I wrote up a little blurp on prolactin) was not there! I guess it didn't save, so I guess I will summarize it here right now.

So, reviewing that HGH is actually a good thing and we get it from sources we are exposed to every day anyway, I wouldn't worry about that. Also, prolactin is only bad for you if you... 1) already have very high levels of prolactin, or 2) take an excessive amount of prolactin for too long. You will know this is your case (an excessive amount) if you experience non-stop swelling, like how women are during pregnancy. That is what is happening, basically, when you take too much prolactin: you are mimicking pregnancy. So those girls who are "growing" from fenugreek alone or from fenugreek being their main herb? Just prolonged swelling. Prolactin is very helpful for the cause of growing the mammary glands but it alone will not make your breasts grow. So again, just like with everything else in NBE, it is safe and good for you as long as you don't over-do it. Relating this back to BO, though? As Tibetan said, it really only affects prolactin levels in an indirect manner, and so might do so minimally. There are many herbs that increase prolactin much MUCH more in comparison to the indirect possible increase caused by BO. So you really have nothing to worry about there, AT ALL. In fact, I am supplementing my BO program with a small dose of FG for a little added prolactin. I see no regular swelling from it, so I am fine.

Keep up the good work on your research!! And good luck Smile

Is anyone of you worried about prions in bo? I read it could cause bse. Actually bo is forbidden in my country for that reason, exept in homeopathical dose.
I really wanted to try it, but now i'm scared...

I don't think it is a thing specific to BO, honestly. You get get prions in the meat you eat as well. What it all comes down to is from where you get your BO.
