I thought I would post on this thread because raw food is something I have been experimenting with for just over a year now but it wasn't for eye colour reasons. as a result of finding this way of eating I have become vegetarian (no eggs or dairy I do eat honey though so not vegan, I am moving in that direction though). When I found the raw food lifestyle I dived right in and when 100% raw for 4 months and it was amazing. After a year of a plant based diet I feel my entire complexion looks brighter and I have a better skin texture. I also am a lot more in tune with my body I notice when I eat rubbish and can see the difference. I would like to say that means I eat perfectly but no I still eat rubbish sometimes, I give in around friends and family and it means I can socialise.

currently I eat a raw, mostly fruit based diet during the day. In the winter/ cold months I have a cooked low fat, low salt diet in the evening and in the summer/warmer months salad/veg based raw meal. This plan mostly works Mon-Fri but at weekends I tend to relax my rules and eat bread or something high fat/salt or like sweet potato fries or something (but today has been very raw and fruity-lots of Melon!). I am looking to remove the less healthy things I eat however I found my 100% strict raw food period a little isolating which I why, despite feeling good, I went back to eating things like sandwiches, oil, stir fry, roasted veg, veg burgers, grilled things etc. it means other people can have me over for dinner and cook for me and I can go out to eat Tongue

Eye colour, I think, like my skin is more clear, it got a bit lighter and a bit brighter. I have more colours in my eyes than ever before, they were very dark brown they now have green and yellow shades in the centre fading into a brown in the edges. so yes raw food has done something for my eyes. (and boobs for that matter)

I tried the honey thing and it was working but then It got to a point where it didn't any more, maybe I ate more bad stuff than good stuff for a while and the honey wasn't enough.

RAW FOOD IS GOOD! even just have 2 raw days a week or raw during daylight hours. you will feel so good and have a general improvement in your appearance, body, mind and eye colour. [/align]

How long did it take you too notice your eyes are lighter? I've been slacking off lately, i've been on a about 30% - 50% raw diet this past month.

Thank you for sharing

Omg! I didn't update!
Thanks @Miss, lol. I noticed that my nose is slimming back to the way it was before Smile
Thanks for your inputs @ all previous posters. High raw is something individual. If you are ready for it, you are ready. It took a while for me but Now I'm really into it. I agree, even if its 2 days a week, that can make a difference. I've experienced this. Now that see more changes, I'm more motivated to stick with it.

As far as my cleanse, I did 10 days! I quit because its too cold to do this to my body and my system is damp/ cool. I need warm foods. But I felt just fine and no scary moments. Just lower energy when I attempted jogging, but def not lethargic. I lost 6-7 lbs. Not a whole lot but its something. I think in the summer I could def do this for a month!

I did watermelon mainly coco water/meat and some Green's like kale n spinach.
I had fermented coco yogurt.

I here are my eyes now BTW:

I can see the acidity leaving in blotches, revealing specks of blue!

that's wicked! you have very sexy eyes, you have that sexy sultry thing going on. LOVE how you do your makeup!
I'm not into raw diet, but certainly into organic and par boiling, trying to do all the right things but keep the proteins up at the same time.

I can definitely see the changes, your eyes where once golden now hazel, I think hazel comes after green.

I think that once they start lightening like yours they get lighter and lighter everyday and more frequently, unlike the beginners.

questions, if a young child fed a raw diet will there eyes be light or whatever there genetics are? and will cooking spinach or kale harming the nutrients?

Thanks @Ella Smile I was a fashion major and loved doing different eras on my face!

@Anonymous,

Yeah. Strange that blue specks can be either darker or lighter. Acidities and clogged lymph seem to lighten eyes but in a hazy way. A toxic light blue eye is indeed really dark or medium shade of blue. And green n gold seems to completely make ones eye appear a different color entirely.

After green comes blue or in my case, like you said, blue n brown. Brown around my pupil, shows I'm supposedly so toxic in the gut. I dong know if it will ever turn amber or gold or clear up to blue solid, I know it sounds crazy to even think I may be have a solid blue eye. In iridology, some claim this "hazel" of blue n brown is a genetic mutation like some kind of genetic predisposed disease you are born with. In other words , born with weak or bad genes is weak stomach or other body system(and it shows in the iris).
So a child eats raw healthy since birth should have their genetic eyes for the most part and if they were born with weak genes, I'd imagine over the years of eating healthy, they may heal all the way or at least 80% and It would show in the irises.

As I stated before, I never ate a whole food vegetable as a child up into my adulthood till I was 21 when I was married and started cooking for myself. I was still eating like crap. When I started cleansing n chelating, I noticed my eyes started lifting slowly over the years @ 25yrs.
Then I started studying raw food/paleo/whole diets and doing that more and I noticed more lifting. I'd say once I cut the gluten out and increased my raw intake, it started to really change. I eat cooked kale all the time. I love it in my chicken soup. I eat spinach raw though. I don't think thats an issue to cook your greens it releases the nutrients better( when they turn that bright green)

I think your right, from here, they are going to start lifting more n more every day if I keep it up. I'll be sure to update on this thread of all the changes.

I just wish my skin would change soft n normal again.

This is fascinating!!

My eyes are a medium dark brown with gold hues. I wish I had green eyes so bad. It's amazing that you are actually witnessing changes in your eyes. I know what you mean about the cold weather and fasting though. I think I'm gonna cut this fast I'm on short because like you, I am cold and need warming foods!! I could see it in the summertime, but damn. **shivers*

You have lovely eyes, Tibetan! Glad you're documenting this.

Thanks @Honey

Those gold hues are acidity in the body. Clear that up and see what you get! You never know what's really underneath that. Its exciting really.

I feel like I'm at the stage where my bright green is fading ( the yellow) into a baby blue. Its almost all (the background) sea green right now. I'll post when they get baby or sea blue for drastic comparison. The brown ring is less orange and lightening.
I think its ideal when its spring/summer as far as doing the cleansing/detox
I will continue to do 50-70%raw. Im more focused on probiotics and fermenting at the moment (studying). I am working on trying to grow spouts for juicing. My skin is not wanting to smooth . I keep reading that if juicing greens n fruits arent enough, one needs to juice more mineral rich foods like fenu sprouts and broccoli, alfalfa etc.

So I'm going to give It a shot.
