Question about insulin

#1
Question

I think it's common knowledge here that insulin increases testosterone production in women so therefore eating too much sugar isn't good for NBE.

HOWEVER...

I also found out that insulin stimulates aromatase as well!
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/3322018/

So this is getting me confused. Is insulin good or bad for NBE? I think it depends on how much testosterone insulin stimulates the ovaries to produce (x) and how much of it is converted to estrogen (y)
If x>y, it's bad. If y>x, it's good.
But it also depends on which estrogen the testosterone is converted to.

What do you girls think?

I eat a lot of sugary foods so I don't think it effects nbe too much.

Insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1) similar to insulin is good. http://aje.oxfordjournals.org/content/145/7/571.long

unrefined olive oil is better than refined sugars.

Olive oil I use a lot I live in Spain but I don't see it as a refined sugar alternative? I prefer brown sugar or honey but not sure it makes a difference.

Right, refined sugar probably works against progress and should probably be limited. raw sugar or sugars in natural juices are good. Too much sugar to fat ratio might be counterproductive.
