Relaxing Ocean Waves
David and Steve Gordon
2010
Nature Sounds for Meditation, Relaxation and Sleep

The sound of the ocean is one of the most soothing sounds there is. It's is a comforting feeling the hear the steady rhythm of ocean waves as they endlessly ebb and flow upon the smooth sandy shore. This super-calming hour of continuous ocean waves is the next best thing to being there. David & Steve Gordon have been recording relaxing nature sounds for nearly 30 years and they know just how to capture the right kind of waves that are most effective for relaxation, meditation and sleep. Listening to these hypnotically calming ocean waves will relax you completely for drifting off to sound sleep or for meditation. If you ever need to sleep, relax or meditate in a noisy environment, this album works really well for masking sounds like traffic, airplane noise, and voices. It's like having your own little world of serenity to go to whenever you like.

I KNOW!!!! Coupled with the sound of seagulls is BLISS, especially with a nice warm breeze wafting by!!
I have a bunch of those Syntonic Research sound albums that Atlantic put out back in the early `70's. REALLY nice stuff!! I just bought a CD burner (like a tape recorder, but it records to CD) that also plays MP3 CD's!! So, one of these days, I'm gonna have to record those albums to CD and make MP3's out of them so I can listen to that kind of stuff all night long as I sleep!! Oceans, lakes, streams, birds, critters in the night near a pond, etc..
