It all depends on the individual. I hope it will work for you, and as long as you have a nice symmetrical body then it is OK to gain some in the lower body. I use both raw powder and caps, see below for the caps info-it is very good:

Well, it is not a phytoestrogen or a hormonal herb. It balances the hormones, but again I think it depends on the individual. I would start very little, and then if your body responds positively, I would take more. I sometimes do not take my other herbs daily, but never miss my maca. Of course I work out intensely 4 or 5 times a week. But be aware, it also increases libido.
Ah increased libido, good to know. You workout a lot! I might try it if its not to expensive, I was already planning on buying some new herbs for a program change again. I especially need an aromastase, I dreamt about it too
