Hi sunnymark. I can vouch for that. I've also used the Wonderup cream and cocoa butter, and I have to say the cocoa butter made me a little bit itchy whereas the Wonderup cream has almost a kind of soothing quality, maybe because of the olive oil it contains which is supposed to be very good for the skin.

I don't know if olive oil has any breast enhancing qualities, but it is certainly excellent for the skin.

I think olive oil helps with absorption. I will sometimes use olive oil with whatever I am massaging with - it helps things to soak in. The WU cream is very nice and absorbs very well - I think that is partly because it contains olive oil.

I am not sure where i have read it but i know people have advised against baby oil (i think from what i remember it isnt a good carrier). Olive oil should be fine, lots of people seem to use it.

I have also read baby oil should be avoided, but I would think that baby "lotion" would be ok.
If you want to stick with a lotion, try something that is actually helpfull to NBE, like cocoa butter,shea butter, or PM cream. Thats my thoughts,anyhow.

And I do think some ladies here are using olive oil. You can also use Emu oil, or aloe vera. All of those are good because they absorbe into the skin much better than most other oils like baby oil.

So there is some idea for you. Hope your routine goes well! Smile

Babyd oil isnt good for anyone!
Let alone babys or our breasts, Due to it having mineral oil. What ever we put on our skin is absored and gets into our systems, And if you know what mineral oil is well, you dont want that in your blood or organs and surly not your babys either.
In fact I stay away from lotions and anything that has mineral iol in it.
Olive oil is great inside and out for your body so I would use that.

Boobie Blessing to everyone!
Love,
Jess

EVE MEMBERS Here is what I found about mineral Oil March 17 2006, 11:20 AM

Mineral oil
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Mineral oil or liquid petrolatum is a by-product in the distillation of petroleum to produce gasoline. It is a chemically inert transparent colorless oil composed mainly of alkanes and cyclic paraffins, related to white petrolatum. Mineral oil is a substance of relatively low value, and it is produced in very large quantities. Mineral oil is available in light and heavy grades, and can often be found in drug stores.
[edit]

Applications

* Refined mineral oil is used as transformer oil.
* Mineral oil is used to store and transport alkali metals. The oil prevents the metals from reacting with atmospheric moisture.
* Personal Care
o Mineral oil is sometimes taken orally as a laxative. It works by lubricating feces and the intestinal mucus membranes and limiting the amount of water removed from feces. Typically, mineral oil is effective within six hours. While it has been reported that mineral oil may be absorbed when emulsified, most information shows that it passes harmlessly through the gastrointestinal system.
o Mineral oil with added fragrance is marketed as 'baby oil' in the US and UK.
o Used as an ingredient in baby lotions, cold creams, ointments and other pharmaceuticals and cosmetics.
o Can also be used for eyelashes; can generally be used to prevent brittleness and/or breaking of lashes.
* Lubrication
* Coolant
* Low viscosity mineral oil is sold as a preservative for wooden cutting boards and utensils.
* A coating of mineral oil is excellent at protecting metal surfaces from moisture and oxidation.
* Light mineral oil is used in textile industries and used as a jute batching oil.
* Mineral oil is used as a sealer for soapstone countertops.
* Also sometimes used in the food industry (particularly for candies). Some studies suggest that it might be unhealthy with prolonged use because of observed low accumulation levels in organs. It has been discouraged for use in foods targeting children, although it is still occasionally found in candies in China and Canada.
* Used as a cleaner and solvent for inks in fine art printmaking.

And another one, I don't have any opinion on this and am not trying to argue a point, just posting what I found.

Mineral Oil

The notion that mineral oil and petrolatum (Vaseline) are bad for skin has been around for some time, with Aveda being the most visible company to mount a crusade deriding these ingredients. According to many companies that produce "natural" cosmetics, mineral oil and petrolatum are terrible ingredients because they come from crude oil (petroleum) and are used in industry as metal-cutting fluid (among other uses) and, therefore, can harm the skin by forming an oil film and suffocating it.

This foolish, recurring misinformation about mineral oil and petrolatum is maddening. After all, crude oil is as natural as any other earth-derived substance. Moreover, lots of ingredients are derived from awful-sounding sources but are nevertheless benign and totally safe. Salt is a perfect example. Common table salt is sodium chloride, composed of sodium and chloride, but salt doesn't have the caustic properties of chloride (a form of chlorine) or the unstable explosiveness of sodium. In fact, it is a completely different compound with the harmful properties of neither of its components.

Cosmetics-grade mineral oil and petrolatum are considered the safest, most nonirritating moisturizing ingredients ever found (Sources: Cosmetics & Toiletries, January 2001, page 79; Cosmetic Dermatology, September 2000, pages 44–46). Yes, they can keep air off the skin to some extent, but that's what a good antioxidant is supposed to do; they don't suffocate skin! Moreover, petrolatum and mineral oil are known for being efficacious in wound healing, and are also considered to be among the most effective moisturizing ingredients available (Source: Cosmetics & Toiletries, February 1998, pages 33–40).

Im not tring to say its bad for NBE Im just simply saying I would never use the stuff on myself nor a baby, Im not saying anything bad about anyone who does I just was stating what I knew about the product you can take or leave it.
I find that Poppy seed oil or apracot oil even olive iol are much better to use. I hope I helped, I didnt mean to strt a contervercy I was just telling you what I knew. Take care..
