I think I'm going to look up some cooked vegan breakfast ideas.
Ella, I read that spinach and kale will also do it if they aren't cooked (and those were the main greens I used for my smoothies, so I think there's some truth to it). Cabbage as well. And I'm scared of iodine supplements because I was reading that they can overwork your thyroid or something along those lines (they compared it to giving an old horse energy pills or something like that; yes the horse will have more energy, but working it harder will make it die quicker).
The thyroid is weird, man.
Iodine is hotly debated Yeh but also highly implicated in chronic disease and body organ malfunction etc.
That's why I never jumped into lugols etc. Also why I use the roll on. You can put one drop on if you like or smear yourself with it. If you're body needs it it will disappear quickly. If not it just stays on your skin and naturally fades.
I'd sooner use that over thyroid meds unless of course you REALLY needed the meds.
But it's an individual thing. It's worth looking into though.
Malfunctioning thyroid is highly indicated in constipation and subsequently sibo which is why I'm starting up the Transdermal again.
Worth looking at using even kelp if you don't have iodine foods in your diet. Adequately sourced of course
I suspected kale and cabbage but didn't know spinach was as well. Kale in smoothies makes me ill!!!
Kale does taste horrible in smoothies! Spinach at least doesn't have much of a taste in smoothies.
Oh, another thing: strawberries aren't so great for underactive thyroid as well. That was also an ingredient in my smoothies. No wonder my levels aren't so great.
