I got a large container of the stuff but it has a relatively short shelf life? Will it still work if it's expired? Also I heard there is another kind of oil out there that is really good for massages and growth? Does anyone know it?
These oils oxidise . I'd check the expired flax. I'm certain I read they can oxidise on contact with air (I'd like to be proven otherwise cause I want to use them). I'd read it more than once in the past so would add a little vit E cap to the oil before massaging. Coconut is think would be an exception to this.
There's almond oil and macadamia. There's another good one too but the name escapes me right now.... I'm about to try almond
fwiw there's a thousand websites claiming any oil under the sun so it might be hit and miss.
