First of all, I never knew hormones could be so complicated!!!
My estrogen level was 40, and that is too low according to my doc. I don't want to take synthetic estrogen, because my body will become dependent on it, and fail to produce its own estrogen.
Do phytoestrogen have the same effect. If I take fenugreek, black cohosh, will I need it always to make estrogen?
I also read about maca (currently taking it) because it is considered to work with your body and make whatever it needs. Is that really true? Any other herbs that work like maca?
