Hi Karen,
I used to make hops tea from between 1,500 and 2,000 mg when I was 180 lbs, and it's proportional to body weight. You're getting enough when your skin is no longer oily.
I use 2,500 mg of fenugreek. Correct for body weight. You have enough when it stops the headaches. Because you can't stall, there is no upper limit. I used 10,000 on the day of a party for swelling.
The hops recipe looks fine, especially the yogurt. I aim for a constant dose of hops, 3,000 mg, and adjust all the other doses on the basis of symptoms. You can also start low and increase over time, as long as you increase the fenugreek proportionally.
Both fenugreek and licorice affect blood pressure. Because the fenugreek dose depends on the hops dose, you have only licorice left to steer your blood pressure. Licorice contains phyto-estrogens, phyto-progestins, anti-androgens, and it increases prolactin. Without testim, you'd stall on 4,000 mg.
In the table below, E is estrogens, P is progestins and progesterone, T is testosterone and DHT, and L is prolactin:
E P T L
+ 0 + 0 testim
0 0 - ? hops tea
0 + 0 + fenugreek
+ 0 - + hops digested
+ + - + licorice
You can work with a base load of testim and licorice, and adjust hops tea, fenugreek, and digested hops for androgen symptoms, estrogen dominance, and growth. Swelling will be resulting, unless you would find that the effects of fenugreek and licorice on prolactin are very different relative to their progestinic effects. In that case, you could steer swelling by adjusting licorice.
