What makes Maca different from Saw Palmentto also while on PM

#1

If they both make your butt and thighs bigger. I have SP but not to thrilled with the other side effects other then bigger butt and thighs that is ok..I know SP helps with androgens but what else does Maca do where does it fall in the hormone area.. I heard it has really good nutrients or was it minerals (not sure if they are the sameRolleyes)..I am thinking of taking Maca for a bubble buttBig Grin but I am on PM but I will experiment with taking it with PM well not at the same time of day..I also read that some women gotten bigger boobs and nothing down in the butt and thighs..I probably will buy it but just would like to see comments on this..

Thank you

From what I know maca balances your hormones and Saw Palmetto blocks androgen (testosterone). I guess it would depend on what it is you think you need to do. For me according to a test I am progesterone deficient and have excess androgen so maca would probably benefit me more to balance out both of those hormonal problems where as if I took Saw Palmetto it would only help my androgen problem. You just have to figure out what works for you.

Hi Gogirlanime,

Thank you, that made total sense..So..Ok..I was thinking even though I am taking PM I could take that even though they say not to mix other herbs with it, but it is phytoestrogen mainly correct..cause my gut is telling me I may need to balance the progesterone some where along this journey..to me, it has to in the blend some how..cause I am overloading on estrogen and taking androgens, then what is going to happen with progesterone just my logical thinking..cause where is the balance in that..ok going to experiment with maca..if that doesnt work then it will be just me and PM and no herbs..yeah ok knowing me I will think of another mix to try..Big Grin

I understood the first link..because it was in English..hahaBig Grin
What about the second could tell me what it says..translation..HuhBlush

So from what your first link is telling me it is similar to taking FG only stronger...if that is the case why cant we take other herbs like with FG..If I am not mistaken though PM has dif. types of phyotestrogens then FG but still so what?

Oh Susan,

happy to read you're feeling better. Me too, just a bit stressed, tomorrow is a busy day.

The second link translates well with Google Translator. It says the same thing as the first link: like maca, aguaja is a bum bubbler. But unlike maca, aguaja is also a phyto-estrogen.

Does that mean aguaja is better for acne than maca? Worth trying. Only, it's expensive.

Hey Isabelle,

yes yesterday I was a little stressed with the man and my regimen..all good now..woofBig Grin

Well I ordered the maca..we shall see..as for the acne going really good in that department just got one on my forehead but probably be gone in a day or 2.. my face has cleared so much..I have also been using a motorized brush to exfoliate and that I think is helping alot..I also using new skin products by st.ives they really work good..dont clog and dont dry..

Ok..so they are almost the same..well sort of..I will see how the maca goes..I am taking the SP ..I take one cap (450mg) open it put 1/2 in soy milk (yeah bought some yesterday to see if that would boost things) or juice in the morning and then the other half late evening..

hey I see you are off the hops for a few days...not sleepy anymore..
