Pump frustration!!
January 23 2007 at 2:00 PM Holly (Login Holly34)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So I received my breast pump yesterday and it doesn't work!!!!! I was soooo upset. The packaging looked ok. It doesn't charge. The charge light does not light up but I left it plugged in anyway for the 8hrs it says it might take and it only turns on for a second and shuts off...sounds like a dead cow! I sent an e-mail to the seller on ebay so hopefully I get a response soon. So depressing that I'll probably have to send it back.

Michelle, Did yours come with 3 cup sizes? Mine looks like it says small, medium & large but I only got the small & large. The cd would be interesting if one could speak chinese/japanese..what ever it is!!

Oh I bet you are fuming! I can't believe it doesn't work. I know the dead cow sound, because that's what mine does when the battery is going dead. So hopefully they will let you know soon if there's anything you can do on your end to get it to work, or maybe they just need to re-send you another charger or something. Mine did come with a small, med, and large cup. So I would also tell them they need to send you the medium cup that you were supposed to already get since it says it on the box right? because that size works perfect for me and I still have room in it whenever I'm pumped up all the way. Tell them they need to translate the CD for you while they're at it. Smile As if you're not already having enough trouble with the durn thing, now you can't even understand the CD. I hope they get back to you soon so you can at least know if you can do something to fix it or know whether you need to send it back or not.

I've been doing mine now for 4wks and a couple of days ago I noticed when I woke up, the smaller side that I always pump had the same fullness up top and in the cleavage area that it does after I pump...so it looks like it stayed instead of going down like it usually does, cause this morning the fullness is still there. So maybe it does help and looks like it just takes a few weeks for the fullness to stay...I'm hoping it stays anyhow. Even my husband commented yesterday and said my smaller side looks bigger. It's not showing up on the tape measure, but I think because it's just rounded and more fuller now...like the pump is giving it more shape. Cause when I look down at my smaller boob it looks so much more filled out now and the cleavage area is starting to look more even with the other side.

So I hope you get it fixed soon so you can start pumping away too! SmileGood luck to you.

I am fuming!! It does show the medium one on the brocure and I think it is the same one you have. Everything you mentioned is what it said on the box when I got it. The medium cup is deffinately what I need...the large one is too big. Because the cup is missing is makes me think it might be used or something. The cd shows people using it (just blurs out the nips) and the amount of swelling they get....wish I could understand what they are saying!! I did check the sellers feedback page and everyone seems to have good comments. I sent her a message but I haven't received a reply yet!! How frustrating...it took 9 days to get it.

I'm glad it seems to be working for you, it does say that over time the results start to become permanant because new tissue starts to grow.

Holly, sorry to hear about your problem with your order. I'll keep a good thought for you that the seller will contact you soon and get a replacement out to you asap. Hang in there...

Michelle, it's good to hear that you're seeing some difference since using the pumps. I've been using my manual pumps once a day for 15 mins. If I'm lucky I get two 15 minute sessions in a day. Like you I don't think there is much of a tape measure difference but they're shaped better. I'm happy with the progress so far.

Happy BE girls Wink

Did you have to have a converter for the charger on your pump? The seller e-mailed me back and because it is a foreign product she said I have to buy a converter. It would be nice if she would mentioned that in the ad. Also she says it is shipping from California and she isn't!! It comes oversees. She failed to mention anything about not receiving the medium cup!! Very frustrating!!!

Holly, i'm sorry to hear that now you have to wait on a converter. I didn't have to have a converter for mine and so I don't know why yours needs one, since they both look like the same identical pump. I would try and contact her again about the medium cup because it says on the box about the medium coming with it and that's what you paid for...the whole package. So I would keep contacting her until she responds or else leave a nasty feedback on her. She should have mentioned that a converter is needed with it in the ad or something, cause now you're having to wait even longer to use what you paid for. The large is definitely very big, but I've never tried that size out yet. You should get what you paid for so I would keep hounding her until she also sends you the medium size cup like you were supposed to get initially, cause that's not right. Good luck Holly, hopefully you'll be able to use it soon.

Wonderbride, I'm also glad you're seeing some positive changes with your pumps too. I would definitely say there's positive changes in my shape and fullness on teh smaller side. So much that if I actually get some growth out of it, I'll have to start using it on the other side to give my big side the fullness up top that I'm now getting on the other side. Smile Plus, the smaller side is more firm now. Hope we see some actual growth soon!

Hey Michelle,

I am really getting anoyed with this woman!! She responded saying their should only be 2 cup sizes and said you can see from the front of the box because it shows 2 pumps with a different size on it. I asked her how come the brocure shows a picture with 3 and in the reference box it says sml breast cups. She did not respond to that. I always have to wait a day before she responds because she is over seas. I mentioned to her that I know someone who has the same one and has 3 cups.

I had to purchase a converter that cost me another $15 bucks and now I have to wait for that to come. I should have just ordered from that site in Hong Kong!! Mine also says Hau Sun Beauty Server (don't think I spelled that right)like yours.

That just doesn't make since they there should only be 2 cup sizes anyhow...just a small and large, becuase naturally if someone is wanting to enhance their breasts they would either be small or a medium size...so that just doesn't make sense to only have a small and large, but no in between. Hopefully you should be able to use the large...you will have more room also. I'm going ot try the large today to see how it does and let you know. Because yesterday I tried pumping for 45min instead of just 20 min and doing it for longer made my breast pump up even more and there was no room in the medium cup, but the good news is that I got even more swellng from doing it much longer and I loved the size, and it looked even with my bigger side afterwards. It swelled up 3/4 inch compared to almost 1/2 inch it usuallly does with 20min. Also I know women who use that bosom beauty system pump their breasts for 1 hour a day for 8wks and some gain at least a cup size...some more if they do it for like 12-14 wks. So I'm going to dedicate myself to doing it at least an hour everyday for about 2-3 months if I can stand it. Smile

Good luck to you when you finally get your converter and I'm sure it better work then, or you will surely let that woman know about it, right? Smile

wow 45 mins! I can hardly wait until 15 mins is up. I have to lay still at a incline with two pillow behind me on the bed when I do it. Can't move around much. I don't remember where I read it but some say it's better to pump 10-15 mins at a time but several times a day instead of one long session. The longer would seem to be better though you'd think. Looks like it's working fine for you. Keep growing girl! Wink

Happy pumping

SENIOR MEMBER Hey Wonderbride! January 27 2007, 1:39 AM

Yes 45 min is definitely a looooong time to sit there pumping, but what I like about this pump is if I move around I don't have to worry about losing suction like with the manual one I used before. And even though I hate doing it for that long, the after effects is what keeps me pumping along. Today I used the large cup and I swelled up even more in the cup since there was more room and my smaller boob swelled up so much that it was bigger than the other side this time and so I decided to start pumping the other side just for 15min in case I get some permanent growth from doing this, I don't want my bigger side to then have to catch up with the other side...then I'll be back at the same problemo.

Using it on both sides I swelled up 1 whole inch more and I loved looking in the mirror cause it gave me an idea of what I would look like with 32D's or almost that anyhow. Smile

I've read also to pump several times a day as opposed to one long time, but I'm so busy doing everything else all day long, including my massages, that one long time is better for me and I figure if women can grow on the bosom beauty thing by doing it for 1hour at a time, it's worth a shot doing it for that long at least 2months.

I just hope the durn thing last as long as I need it to, if not I know I will be ordering another one for sure, but probably not from the lady you got it from holly since you've had so much problems already. I do hope you get your converter soon so you can enjoy the temporary swelling also. Smile It keeps me motivated to keep on pumpin on! Smile Also, Holly the large was fine when I used it on both sides today and my bigger side doesn't even swell up that much or not as much as the smaller side, I guess cause I've done the smaller side for 4 1/2 wks now and the more you do it the more the skin stretches to swell up I think. So the Large should hopefully be okay for you if that lady is still being a pain in the butt and saying you're not supposed to get a medium cup with yours. A large leaves more room to swell also if you do it for a long time at once.

Breast blessings ladies!!!

Sounds like your amaller breast is catching up with your other breast. Congratulations on seeing some results. Do you put any creams on before of after you pump? You're lucky you can move around in your pump. I have to stay still or it'll fall off! Well, it'll just take me longer to see or retain any results. Hope persistence and patience will pay off eventually.

Wonderbride, thanks for the congrats. Smile about using creams before/after.....I was pumping 1st then right afterwards doing my 1st daily massage with my breast creams/extracts...I did that for the first 4wks, then got to thinking about what I read on the brava forum about not massaging after you pump or you lose the tension the pumping created or you wanna keep the tension, so I just started a week ago massaging first, then at least 1-2hrs later doing my pumping to give my boob potion time to soak in. Then, I don't do another massage until close to bedtime which is hours after pumping.

But, even though I was massaging right after pumping for those 1st 4wks, I still retained and ending up keeping the swelling the pump was creating up to that point.

Sorry that you can't move around with your pumps..I remember how frustrating that was for me when I used my other manual pump last year, but yes with perserverance and dedication you should see some permanent results hopefully, you're already seeing some change in your shape, so that's good, I've noticed that in mine as well. I think if others didn't see results with these small pumps it's because they probably didn't do it long enough and it's easy to become very impatient with these things if you don't see results right away...and it's hard enough to sit there for that long pumping away manually, not like having the brava do all the hard work for you. So just hang in there and hopefully you'll see more results. Smile Like I said I didn't see anything promising going on until after 4 1/2wks, and I know it's not the bb pills doing it, cause all this time I never grew in the cleavage area that much or on top, now I'm getting more tops and all around my boob is much fuller. My husband commented again yesterday when he saw me massaging and said they look much fuller now and said my smaller side looks bigger than the other. So now that's why I'm also pumping the other side.

Good luck to you...pump away! Smile

Holly,
Well, isn't she lucky that the pic on the box only has 2 cups...or else what would be her excuse then...I wonder. Smile

The large should work for you then and I know you can't wait to start. I hope your converter comes tomorrow. Just wish there was a dual system so we could pump both boobs at the same time. Also a little tip since yours looks just like mine.....the switch on the side that goes from high to low...well, you use that to switch to 'high' so that it will pump you up and all this time I was going back and forth from high to low...to inflate and deflate. I was inflated until I felt too much pressure or until it hurt, then switching to low to deflate and then immediately switching back to high...that's what's best for growth I read in my instructions. Well, doing the durn switch so much was creating little blisters on my thumbs, then I remembered the emergency release suction button you can push on the back of the thing (up top), I'm sure you've seen it on yours. Well that is so much easier of course pushing that to release the suction. So I first pump it up by switching it to 'high' mode and keeping it there, then I just keep letting it pump up and pushing the emergency release button..back and forth. Hope I explained that well enough. MAybe it will save you some blisters. Smile

Breast of luck ladies!!

All of this breast pump stuff is very interesting! I was wondering if both of you could tell us where you got your pumps from? I would like to know where Holly got hers from so I know not to buy from there, but maybe where Michelle got hers from just in case I decide to do this sometime in the future. The only automatic breast pumps I have seen were for nursing. I have a manual one also, but it is so cheaply made that I decided it was a piece of junk- I got it from Natureday. It doesn't hold the suction for longer than a couple of minutes and somebody told me that they don't really work, but I am rethinking this now.

Michelle,

I think I can see a difference already too and I've been at time for 3 weeks now. Cleavage area looking better and a bit fuller on top too. Wow, your formerly smaller breast is bigger than the other one now. That's great! Now you have to pump both of them. Keep up the good work and keep growing Wink

Michelle,

Thanks for the tip information!! I think I understand what you are saying. Pump on high until it gets to be too much and then release suction then back to high? My charger will be here tonight but I'm not sure if I will be able to start or not since my UPS driver comes pretty late.

Wonderbride,

I'm glad to hear that you are starting to see results with yours. Manual pumping must be difficult to keep up with but maybe you'll get some nice arm muscles!!

lassysam,

here's a link to what mine look like and the lady I bought it from is not sellng more at the moment, but maybe she will later on: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...0056405398

Also, here's another place that sells the same one, don't know the cost, but you could always contact the seller to find out.

Wonderbride, That's great that you're cleavage is looking better, along with more tops! You're dedicated lying in one spot pumping skills is paying off! Smile It's funny I use to hate my massaging rituals and felt like I had to force myself before, but after doing this pumping thing everyday for so long now, massages are a breeze compared to that and much less time for sure. Smile Good luck on seeing more results. I just hope what we achieve sticks around after we stop one of these days. It's hard to know just how long to do it for in order to keep what we've achieved so far. I'll try to do it as long as I'm on NBE...I know got my work cut out for me! Smile

Holly,

I'm so glad you're finally getting the converter tonight...and even if you don't have time to get fully involved pumping today, you could just test-drive it to see how it works, that's what I did the 1st day I had it cause I didn't have time to use it then. I'm glad you understood what I was saying in my post about the release suction thing. Also, You don't have to move the switch once you put it in 'high' mode, just keep it there and only use the emergency release suction button, once you push the release suction it will automatically pump back up as long as it's in high mode, so you're just steadily pushing the suction release back and forth. And when I push the release suction I hold it down for about 2-3 seconds so it deflates all the way. Good luck to you when you start!

Breast wishes everyone!!

Lassysam: I also got mine from ebay and it is the same as Michelle's. Mine came from a woman with an e-mail of cheapnaturalcom. I guess the difference is Michelle's says it is shipped from Hong Kong so they gave her the proper charger for the US. The person selling mine does not bother to mention that she doesn't not give you the proper charger for the US.

Holly,

you're right, didn't even notice that it says only 2 cups included, but the picture of the contents of the box does show 3cups...the diameter measurements that it says is included for the cups look like medium and large though I'm not sure. I don't know how they think anyone could use the small, I mean the diameter looks way too small for anyone's chest to me. Like I said before, it looks small enough to maybe cover one of my nipples. Smile You should be fine wiht the large cup though and you'll have a lot of room to expand. After I used the medium cup for like 4wks I was filling it up all the way anyhow and once i would pump for like 10-15min my boob was touching the top of the cup so it's probably best to use a large anyhow. Now the problem is I'm fillng up the large also all the way of course that's after 30min of pumping, the longer you pump the more you swell. Good luck when you start!!

Lassylam,

I release the pressure once it's fully pumped and yes I do it over and over..back and forth...up down up down. Smile With the one I have there's no way to just let it keep letting my boob inflate because it hurts when it gets to a certain point and you feel like your boob is going to explode! So you have to release it over and over. My husband even saw me doing it the other day when he was home and he said he can't look cause it looks like it's going ot pop and just keeps telling me to be careful, even though he loves the temporary swelling. Smile Good luck if you decide to try it out!

That still sounds like a lot of work though, even though it's an automatic pump. It sounds powerful though, which is prob why you are getting such good results.
I will prob have to wait for work to pick up for my hubby before I invest in the boob popping contraption. It sounds like a good project for this spring though. I'll have to check the prices.

So in the end I ended up getting one for free. I'm hoping your situation will come out better somehow also for you. And if you ask me, you should definitely not have to wait for her to receive HER mistake back before she sends you the correct converter, which should have been sent with your package the first time. Now this is the 3rd time you're having to wait on something from her just so you can use what you paid for. So you already had to wait long enough to get the converter and since it's her mistake for sending the wrong one, I would let her know that you're sending it back, but you would appreciate it if she goes ahead and sends you the correct one since it takes so long to receive things from her and also more importantly, because it is not your fault that you have the wrong one and you've waited long enough. I mean I'm sure you would like to use what you payed for sometime this year right? Hi! I have a question about pumping. I just got a manual pump. I'm using it on the smaller breast to see what happens. Thinking of doing 15 minutes twice a day if I can. This may be a stupid question, but I'm a little confused. Am I supposed to "pump it up" and then leave it for 15 minutes, or is the 15 minutes supposed to be while doing a pump and release cycle over and over again? Help! :-)

Hi lisa,

Not a stupid question at all...when I had a manual pump back about last june, I wondered the same thing cause I had no idea about pumping boobs. Smile But, yeah you pump, release, pump, release. Smile Just pump until you can't handle the pressure or when it hurts...not too much though. SmileThose manual pumps would be hard to keep it pumped up for a long time anyhow, cause any kind of movement usually and you lose the suction, so you have to pretty much sit tight. Smile Good luck to you and hope you see some results on your smaller side also. It took my smaller side a good 4wks before I started noticing more fullness was actually staying put and wasn't just temporary swelling anymore. So if you stick with it for awhile hopefully you should start seeing a difference. Smile

Thank you! I've just been keeping the pumped up boob for ten minutes at a time, pretty uncomfortable, I'm glad I'm supposed to be pumping and releasing, haha! I'll do it right tonight. By the way, your pics look great! I definitely am considering BO. I'm having good results so far with herbs, but I'm only 3 1/2 weeks into it. I'm definitely swallowing a lot of different pills and cutting out caffeine and carbonation and I don't know how long I'll keep a good attitude about those sacrifices. At some point I see myself possibly switching to the BO program. Keep on growing! :-)

I am an State licened electronic technician. Most step up transformers will operate in the reverse mode unless it specifically says it won't. There will be an increase in amperage but the unit will only draw what it needs. Are you sure the AC Voltage isn't being converted to DC?. I would take the pump unit to a Radio Shack (they won't know what it is for any way and if they do who cares) as I imagine the pump is actually running off 240/110v and converting it to 12V DC or something like that range. I cannot imagine a manufacturer hooking up 11)volts to anything attached to your body. If there is a Box with a plug on it see if you can find a statement that says "OUTPUT VOLATGE". That will be what you need to run your pump. If it has a plug off of the adapter make sure that you observe the + positive and - negative polarity. The center determines the polarity. If you buy a universal one it will say "TIP +" or "TIP-". If you bring it to any good electronics shop you should be set to go in 5 minutes.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ok I guess when it rains it pours!! Remember when I said I got the wrong charger sent to me and they told me it would work so they sent me an adapter...well it still didn't work. So yet again I had to purchase a new converter and wait another week. I finally got the converter and it worked!!! I actually got to use the pump 2 times and then I BROKE IT!!! I guess I twisted the cup on too tight and it broke the little rubber band that makes it tight. I even tried putting on the one from the small cup but that broke too!! Now my husband has to go to the hardware store and see if he can get more to fix it.

Another thing, I did up my bo to 2 pills twice a day and took 2 dim pills. In the middle of the night I had bad period feeling cramps and woke up in the morning and had blood spots. I've never had that happen before. I stopped the dim to see if that was the problem. I took 2 bo last night before bed and had no cramps.

Sorry to hear about your rain storm. Smile When you say the band broke that makes it tight are you talking about the rubber band thing that fits the top of the cups?? Or is it where the cup actually twists into the unit?? If it's the band that goes on the top of the cup, you can still use it without that. The band I have only fits on teh medium cup and I use the large now without a band with no problem. I don't have a band anywhere on mine where the cup twists onto the unit. If it's more complicated than the band that goes on the cups, then I hope you get it fixed soon, you've definitely been through enough with this thing. Smile

sometimes i have days like that... or weeks! like two weeks ago it all started when i went for a minor surgical procedure and... well, they did the wrong one... they thought it was in my best interest... yeah... that was a great week...

but you are perservering, and that is what counts, and you have a wonderful supportive husband heading back out to the hardware store to get the parts to fix it... my husband would probably just follow me there and giggle the whole way...

youll get there... i guess stay away from the dim?!

Michelle, It is the little white one on the tip that screws into the unit. Now when I screw it in it doesn't get tight enough so the suction doesn't work!!

Thanks Emmie, I'm going on about a month a bad luck right now....It's only got to get better right?? Maybe my boobs will actually start to grow....that would be lucky!!!

AH! I see what you're talking about now...wouldn't of even know it was there it's so tiny. Hopefully you can find another one to replace it with, there's got to be somethign like that at the hardware store. Good luck and yes it's only got to get better from here for you. Smile

Sorry to hear about your problems with you pump again. Is that unit jinxed or what? Dim Plus didn't seem to do much for me when I took it. Vitex really helped with my pms and menopausal syptoms, how I'm taking damiana liquid extract for a change.

Your luck will get better. You're fortunate to have a understanding and supportive husband. Think only good thoughts and that things will go smoothly and easily for you from now on. Smile I'll keep a good thought for you too!

My husband called and said the hardware store had what I needed!! I just hope we can put it back on without ripping it again. So Michelle, when you put it on don't overturn it or you might break yours as well!

I'm not so sure my husband is totally understanding and supportive because he really doesn't think anything will work...I'm dying to prove him wrong!! I just don't think he wants to listen to me complain anymore about that pump!!

That's great your husband was able to find it!! Now you can get back to pumping. Thanks for the tip also...I'm just gonna leave the cup on from now on and not take any chances taking it off or screwing it in I think. Smile

Happy pumping!!

Well, we bought several different rubber pieces and we can not fix it!! I e-mailed the lady I bought it from and she said the only way to get a part is to order it from the supplier in Hong Kong!!! Even if they send us the elastics I don't think we can fix it...I need a new cup or something. Just one more thing to top of the cake!!!!!!!!

So sorry Holly, I feel so bad for you. I wanna scream right along with you, cause I know how frustrating that must be. Are you just gonna order a new cup then from teh supplier? Maybe two? so you have one for backup? I just wish that lady I got mine from was still selling them so you wouldn't of had to go through all this bs with this supplier..I know that wouldn't of helped the band breaking but at least you wouldn't of had ot go through the adapter crap and you would of had a spare large cup at least. Hope you get it fixed soon or get a new cup soon so you can start getting all your moneys worth. Good luck to you.

Michelle, Thanks for caring!! The problem is I never get anywhere with this lady. She did not tell me who the supplier was or anything so I could do that. I had to e-mail her back and ask more questions. She will not respond until tomorrow and I am leaving for the long weekend!! I'm very frustrated because it really felt like it was going to be the thing I needed to get me growing!! Because I am so small and never breastfeed it seemed like the stretching would help out. My boobs were very soar after I did it the 2 times...they have actually been a little soar still...not sure if it is from that or HOPEFULLY the pills are starting to work. I keep thinking my positive happy thougths.

I really have to commend you on your perseverence Holly! :] You are so determined! You have went through a lot to get that pump to work and get the right parts. I am really amazed. I am afraid I would have probably given up first thing. I think you should be proud of yourself. You are a good problem solver and good at getting things done. :]

I'm really trying hard to get this to work this time. I want to grow so badly that I will do almost anything so I really hope I can get this pump fixed...I have a lot of money invested in it at this point. I really appreciate your comments...that's really what keeps me going!!

Lassysam is right you should be proud of yourself for not giving up. It may take a little more time, but hopefully she will email you back soon and give you the supplier's info. The pumping did make me really sore for awhile also, but now my skin's use to stretching I guess. I think the pump would really help you get growing since it's made a big difference for me. So you're perserverance I believe is worth it. Smile If you want I can send you some pics so you can see the difference it's made in filling out my smaller side so far. Just let me know and I'll email them to you.
Hang in there girl! Smile

I'm back from my long weekend away snowmobiling. So the lady never even e-mailed me back!! I just sent her another message. I'm so frustrated with her. I did notice that she is no longer selling the pump on e-bay. I gave her a bad feedback so she is probably mad at me. Michelle I would love to see your pictures.....need that encouragement to keep me going. Every night I look at my victoria secret swim suit catalog and tell my boobs that they would look good in one of those!!

Welcome back! Hope you had a nice time snowmobiling. Smile Sorry you haven't heard from that lady still and don't blame you for leaving negative feedback on her...I mean what did she expect 'positive' feedback?!?! Pa-lease!! If she really values her customers and business then she should at least try and make it right at this point.

There's another site that sells the same pump...I had mentioned it on here before, maybe they have the cups in stock or something for it...probably wouldn't hurt to try. The link is: http://www.alibaba.com/catalog/11485414/...mover.html

And hey nothing wrong with looking at the victories secret book...that's positive affirmations right there and goes right along with the law of attraction. Smile They suggest to look at pics of what you want. I downloaded one of those free subliminal programs on my computer and feel eveyr little bit helps. I'm even doing subliminal messages to stop smoking and for the past couple of days when I smoke it tastes more awful than usual and half the time I'm not even smoking the whole cigarette and I'll even think to myself..'I don't need this'. So the subliminal messages I feel do help.

If you give me your email address I'll send you the pics. The before pic was taken in December and the difference between my boobs in that pic has always been by that much...even with all the creams, massages, heat, etc. So I owe my little one catching up some all to the pump. Smile

Keep imagining those big boobs everyone!! Smile

Thanks Michelle!! I had e-mailed her again and still no reply. I will try that link you gave and see if they respond. I'm glad the subliminal messages seem to be working for you. I hope you succeed at quiting smoking...sounds like you are on the right track!! I'm at work all day so I don't want to download them here. My e-mail is hnr512@yahoo.com
