How much GR tea is equivalent to 3000 mg capsules?

#1

I'm supposed to be taking 1000 mg GR 3 times daily on days 5-10 of my cycle, but I want to drink tea instead. 3000 mg of finely powdered herbs usually comes out to 3/4 tsp, but drinking tea made from less than a tsp of herbs is not the same as consuming the powder directly (either in capsules or loose). To add to the confusion my GR is only roughly chopped. It looks like very coarse oregano. I plan to crush it in a mortar to help it extract into the water more easily. In my experience, powder makes a much stronger tea than loose leaves, but I won't be able to produce a powder by hand.

If it's impossible to convert the dose directly, maybe someone can just suggest what dose of GR tea I should use during days 5-10. I'm a AAA, if it matters.

My cycling program is described here: http://www.breastnexus.com/showthread.php?tid=10869&page=4

Hi mochaccino,

You can't consume the herb directly: it's toxic. I just assume that if I make tea from 3,000 mg, all the active ingredients are in the tea. A discussion on how much that is in capsules or liquigels starts here:

How much GR tea makes up a typical dose? In other words, what's a normal, average amount for BE? Do you know if people drink a different amount if they're cycling? I think I might just drink whatever amount most people are drinking, instead of worrying about converting the dose. I'm gonna start researching other GR programs right now.

Hi mochaccino,

Tea from 3,000 mg herb is about right.

I checked it yesterday: I drank tea from 4,500 mg again, after months of using 3,000 mg, and I had more swelling this morning. But then I'm 172 lbs, so for you, 3,000 is plenty.

Generally speaking, cycling herbs is more economical, but I don't know if anyone cycles goat's rue.

I think Lled cycles GR at the moment but I think she takes it in capsules. I make tea from about 2,000 mg of goat's rue (which also looks like oregano) and it gives me nice swelling. I am also an AAA.
