Vegetarian NBE

Hey,

I have just recently became a vegetarian and I was just wondering if other vegetarians have had success with nbe and how did you supplement for lack of collagen?

I believe collagen is needed for NBE. Vitamin C is needed to make collagen. You can get your vitamin c from oranges, grapefruits, tomatoes, peppers, potatoes, broccoli, and cantaloupe. Collagen derives from protein. 1 cup of potatoes can give you 12 grams of protein, most cooked veggies can give you about 4 grams per cup, 2 tbls of peanut butter can give you 8 grams. If you are 19 years and over, you can calculate how many grams of protein you need with the use of this formula: your weight in kilograms times 0.8 g=_____g/day. You can always get vegan collagen supplements, but the ideal is through diets.
