I know this thread is kinda old-ish, but I just have to put my two cents in because... I never had any idea that small areolas were considered more desirable ! I'm actually really surprised because I personally think that larger areolas create such a raw, bold, and--dare I say it--sexy look, I would never imagine someone wanting smaller areolas. I personally wish that mine were a little larger (although not as large as pancakes), and less puffy, like Doll said. I think large areolas are hot!!!

Big boobs small areolas are just a porn thing, which means its a fad that will eventually die out. Kind of like how big asses are all the rage now, it wasnt always. Best not to take things to seriously. What is considered beautiful and sexy changes with time and between cultures. For a while in china women bound there feet to make the small and deformed. That was considered "hot" and porn was made of it. Men dont really have innate sexual preferences. They just think they do based on what society tells them.

I myself have A cups with two different size areolas. The small one is the size of a quarter, the other is the size of a half dollar.
I just wish they were both the same size!

I think big areolas are more womanly and female looking. Men have small areolas and young girls, so I dont peronsally see whats so attractive about that.

I kind of like that society embraces us big booty girls but yea... I just looked at the chart again and mine are normal/3.6cm-4.5cm and I honestly wouldn't want them smaller, they use to be before having my son, but I agree, they look more womanly. My hubby and I just watched Hall Pass again for the 3rd or so time tonight and one of the women on there had a similar sized areola/nipples and I think her breasts looked good her name is Nicky Welan. I'd love to have the shape of her breasts though haha and her abs! But yea, wouldn't want my butt to go away.

I say embrace whatever you have, someone out there will find it sexy. Plus surgery to reduce areola leaves major scars.

I don't know why I didn't see that link the first time I posted. I can't believe they actually refer to my type of nipple as "shy" nipples. I've always called them that, the way they used to "hide" most of the time, but I never thought anyone else called them that. ^^;

BTW, most porn actresses have small areolas on large breasts because they get implants without getting the areolas enlarged. To me, small areolas on large breasts make me think that there's been some kind of unnatural augmentation. I think that's why I prefer to see larger areolas on a woman, because they look so much more real. I watched Freddie Vs Jason again the other day and couldn't believe how awful those girls' breasts looked. They not only had the worst fake shape I've ever seen (the one girl looked like hers had just been done), but their areolas and nipples were so small!

Sometimes because my breasts grow in too round a shape and because of my small areolas, I worry that if I grow too much more and my areolas develop and finally become flat against my breasts, that people will think I've gotten implants.

My areolas are 2 cm across I just measured them. They're tiny and flat and I don't have big nipples either. The only saving grace of them looking like a teenage boys is that because they're so small they make my meagre breasts look rounder and bigger than if I had huge areolas. They would cover the whole boob like a solar eclipse!

So glad I found this thread . I'm a full A cup and my areolas are relatively small So what Im wondering is if I start my NBE would the arealas widen eventually ? I also heard many women reporting how they changed to a bigger size after noogling or vacuuming their breasts . I would appreciate any advice .Thanks.
