Hello members,

I have a question that I could not seem to find, and I'm hoping it can be answered.

My girlfriend is currently a 32A, and after finding this forum, she figured it would be fun to try out. She has been using Fenugreek, Saw Palmetto, and Macca.

Recently, she just started using birth control, Junel-fe. A quick google search said that the herbs she was using disable the birth control. Which, seeing as we do not want to be parents at the rip age of 23, sent her off the herbs and I researching.

Even if this was answered before and you link me to it, it would be appreciated. Thanks a lot.

I'm having the same problem, I want to start NBE but taking birth control pills.. I think some efficient products such as saw palmetto can in fact make the BPC less effective. Found of the forum:
"Some birth control pills contain estrogen. Saw palmetto might decrease the effects of estrogen in the body. Taking saw palmetto along with birth control pills might decrease the effectiveness of birth control pills. If you take birth control pills along with saw palmetto, use an additional form of birth control such as a condom."

But there are others more natural ways to increase bust size like food which increase estrogen and block androgens.
(look for that on the forum) She can for example drink spearmint tea!
She can also give a try to breast massaging and hypnosis!

I'm on Ortho Tricyclen birth control and I have been taking PM for about a month and a half or so, and I haven't had any problems with anything. No missed or extra periods, no pregnancy...nothing has changed at all except I think I'm growing

I am in the same boat, I can say for sure that fenugreek doesn't interfere with the pill, I asked my gynecologist. The best hormone-free methods are massages, breast pumps and hypnosis or subliminal.

me too i want to NBE, im taking BCP Althea pills, also a "beauty pill" have Cyproterone progesterone (anti'androgen) & Ethinyl Estradiol, an estogren..

some say, they increase breast with ALthea..

im on 1st pack i'm using it also for vanity purpose to make my skin clear & fair,

my question can i take herbs like PM while on bcp?!
this month im not sexualy active, but this May 2014 my partner will come.

Fenugreek should be fine. I've been taking spearmint and goat's rue and they're fine too. what you want to avoid is anything that's going to make her ovulate i.e: phytoestrogens that could alter levels of 'oestrogen' in the body. I've forgotten about how saw palmetto & macca actually work but if they alter levels of anything the body recognises as oestrogen I'd steer clear. Fenugreek and simmilar are ok because they only increase prolactin and the body's sensitivity to existing oestrogen and spearmint is only an anti-androgen.
