See if i can help you a bit..
I think you should keep doing your research here in the forum and I bet you'll find some useful information to start understanding NBE and help you to start building your first program. You have to keep in mind that sometimes the first program don't come along with the intended results. NBE is different for everybody, what works for some, don't work for other. It's about trial and error, listen to your body and tons of patience and positive thinking. It will take time, but sure you will see results from it.
Your hormone panel is useful for you to know what are the needs of your body, and to guide your steps throughout your journey.
You can try to check your hormones via your doctor, if you can't, there are some saliva tests that you can order. Peggy shown me this one:

or this one that is more complete
http://www.medivere.de/shop/Frau/Hormons...-plus.html. The basic idea is to know if you have low/high estrogen compared with your levels of progesterone. Then there are many other factors to consider too.
There are also online tests that can give you an idea, but of course it's not that accurate.

So, PM is an estrogenic herb (strong) that can imbalance your hormones. Especially if you are already estrogen dominant. And as a strong estrogenic herb, you should balance with some progesterone too. But well, to start, i would not go that way. I would start with adaptogenic herbs as surferjoe told you. And add some anti-dht herbs. Good nutrition is super important as well. Massage is very important too, so i would prefer to do that with organic oils instead of industrialized lotions.
Here are some important links (from Lotus) with useful information.
