Hi Aerie,
I am glad you are interested in this method because it can provide what you are seeking which is increase in breast size without increasing body fat all over.
These systems all work by what is called external tissue expansion. In other words the suction creates a negative pressure on the skin of the breast and this causes greater fluid inflow to the breast area. The body responds to this by initially causing a swelling reaction and later it will slowly grow new skin and breast tissue as a result of persistent and frequent or prolonged use of the device.
This type of tissue expansion is well recorded in medical journals and articles, but it usually is dealing with growing something other than the breast. Brava has actual scientific evidence that its system will grow breast tissue. The same scientific validity can be assumed for all of these pumping devices if they are used correctly.
There are three basic versions of suction devices:
1. Brava - this device is worn for at least 10 - 12 hours a day. It has shown to increase breast size by about 1 cup size after 12 weeks of use. However, more likely it would take about 24 to 48 weeks of use for most women to sustain this increase.
Pros of Brava - It has scientific evidence to support its results. The dome design is very comfortable and a nice shape.
Cons of Brava - It costs a whole lot of money. Many women experience skin problems from the prolonged use. Many women experience sleep problems from wearing it while they try to sleep. Many women experience a problem with relationships or friends because they have this device suctioned on their breasts for 12 hours a day. The results are not always experienced by everyone.
*************************************
2. Bosom Beauty (BB) - This is a mechanical suction pump that has various settings to allow an increase or decrease of desired pumping action.
Pros of BB - It only takes a couple of hours per day. The domes are nicely shaped. Some women like the suction pressure this device creates. Some women experience growth from this device.
Cons of BB - Several users have reported the machine suctions too hard which bruises the breast tissue. Many have reported the machine breaks down a lot. The cost is several hundred dollars.
*************************************
3. Noogleberry - This is a hand pump suction device.
Pros of Noogleberry - It only takes 1 - 2 hours per day. The price is one of the lowest at around $70 US. The hand pump is easy to use. The support for Noogleberry is out of this world, meaning emails are answered and broken devices replaces quickly. Many have reported quick gains in breast size. Several have reported that after extended use the breast gains have become permanent.
Cons of Noogleberry - The domes are shaped in such a way that it builds the top of the breast as well as the bottom, resulting in a 'boob job' look to the breast (not a con for everyone). The pressure of the domes are sometimes uncomfortable but this is usually only experienced at first. The swelling is at first only temporary and takes about a month before it lasts more than just a couple of hours. It takes a lot of persistent use before results will be permanent (about 1 - 2 years of use).
*************************************
I personally have only had experience with the Noogleberry. I found it easy to use and not uncomfortable once I got used to it. I used if for about 45 minutes in the morning and 45 minutes in the evening. It made a very nice changed to the size and shape of my breasts. I have not been using it for about 3 months now after using it for about 7 months straight. I have lost much of the swelling I had gained (about a cups worth) but I have maintained an enlarged area of growth in the upper part of my breasts (about 1/2 cups worth).
My advice would be to register on the Noogleberry forum and take a look at the picture pages. You will find some very nice looking results. Of course everyone is different and we all respond in our own way, but even temporary results that you can maintain with just a couple of sessions per week are worth the effort.
If you are looking for the least expensive then I would say go with the Noogleberry. Even if you were going to use the more expensive Brava system I would suggest getting the Noogleberry first and see if you like the effect.
Best wishes,

Hi Sandy,
I never got an airlock with my Noogleberry. I may be missing out on something, but I found that using a clothes pin - just folding over the tubing and clamping it - worked perfectly well.
I never even needed to use the clothes pin until my tubing became a little stretched and began to fall off the pump. The pump itself works just fine as an airlock while sitting down.
I was never able to move around while wearing the domes anyway - one false move and Pffttt - off they would fart. But that is just me. Some have talked of doing housework while wearing them. Not me - I'm like a little T-rex with useless arms when wearing the Noogle.
So no - I don't think the airlock is necessary at all.
Best wishes,
