For the record, I didn't say the authors were wrong. I've explained that what they wrote means receptor re-sensitization. That I explained, but got mis-interpreted. Secondly, the authors also put in the chart that Estrogen acts on ER receptors to cause elongation.

I've explained how both of what the scientists/authors wrote was correct. So, if that's not what the authors meant, then that's saying the other part of what the authors wrote contradicts their first part.
