What is the latest your period has been on PM?
June 1 2009 at 2:17 AM Antheia  (no login)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hello everyone,

I was just wondering what is the latest everyone's periods have been since they have taken PM. I know PM can mess with us, and this is the first month that I have ever been late (I'm about a week and a half late now).

I took about 400-500mg a day the last time I did my PM cycle. I also took PM a couple of days longer than last month (accidentally, things have been really hectic lately, so I lost track of how many days I took PM, so I started PC a little later than I should have).

Also, for the ladies who have been late before, were you doing 15 days of PM, and then 14-15 days of PC (for some sort of hormone balance)?

I'm just a little worried, this is my first time ever being late since I've had a period, though I probably just royally messed my cycle up. =/

Thanks for any input that you may have!

SENIOR MEMBER Hi June 1 2009, 8:03 PM

In answer to you r question, my first month of PM my period came after 52 days!! I am usually regular - 30 - 32 days. So I was panicking I can tell you. When I finally came on it was very heavy with horrid clots, but not painful (tho i don't usually have period pain anyway.)

At this point I was taking PM day 7-21.

After this I cut down the Pm to 13 days and took them 1-14, which shortened the cycle to 38 days.

Since then I have done 1-13 0r 14 and taken 1 a day and things have been normal.

This last month i took 1 on day, then 2 the next, days 1-14, and will be on day 28 on Sat next so am hoping things will be ok.

Its a strong thing and I totally understand your worry. Been there, got the T shirt, etc. I took PM UK stuff by the way. For me, 250 mg a day has worked aswell as 500 mg. Eventally I will try the full dosage again.

Ask anything else, if you feel you need to!

After using PM capsules for nearly a year, I quit them because they were messing up my cycles so darn bad.
I went over 4 months with no period.
I was using Bellas PM.
Had pains and tingles the first month only.
Nothing after that.
No growth at all.
Sex drive went to hell, breast sensation became non existant.
Had so much vaginal lubrication is was unbelievable, to the point it was stupid, but no drive or desire to do anything with it.
Keep on schedule with that PM, do not deviate from the instructions in taking it.
if you do, you will have problems.
Im thinking of using the Ro Bust cream to see if that does any good.
If not, I quit.
Its not worth messing up your cycles for bigger breasts.
After a couple of months, my cycles are still messed up but are getting back to normal.

That is just my two cents worth.

Wow!

Thats dissapointing to hear. I was thinking of trying PM. However, I do know that PM will affect everyone differently and not everyone will respond in this way. I hope you can find something that works for you.

I take PM twice daily and the capsules are 500mg each. I haven't taken any breaks and I've been on it for two and a half months. The first time around, my period came around 5 days late and this month it's right on time from last month.

I know we try and push a product to get more from it, wanting boobs so badly, but I really think it is important to do the 14 days on and break. My clcle was not late, if anything a couple of days early.

If my period became irregular I would take breaks, but the pills I use never mentioned any breaks for some reason. The first I heard of breaks were through forums. I wonder why and I think I really need to monitor my bodily changes toward that time of the month.

Took PM capsules from Day 1 of period as prescribed, to Day 15. On Day 15 however, my period came again Sad. A few days before Day 15, I was wondering why I was getting my typical PMS headaches.

for both Eila and Fat Clara,, I am interested in the amount of mgs per day you take. I know St. Herb says to take for 15days and then off. With bellas, its take on the 7th day after period started and then take for 14 days, but that is 900mgs per day and sorry if this is a repeat info, but can't remember whats at the top of this thread. I have come arcross a site for PM that says to take about 300mgs per day, but that was for HRT for menopausal women and it didn't say you would take break and maybe they aren't still dealing with a period either. I know I didn't have a probelm with Bellas method, and no sence in taking PM when you are on your period, hoemones are too low to help PM work at that point. Just my experience.

That was rather rude of you, but yes, I am taking Ainterol. I've heard a lot of negative things about it from this forum, but I was already over 2 months into the pill before I came here and it actually seems to be working for me thus far. I may switch to something else depending on my end result once I finish my last bottle.

I am sorry, we didnt mean to be rude. It just that, Ainterol is the only one that suggests to take PM with no breaks. Also, it has not had much good results with people on the forum.

Yeah I know, I understand. =( I mean, had I found this forum prior to going with the brand which is not to be mentioned (LOL), I honestly wouldn't have tried it either. In fact, reading this forum, it has made me become more cautious and know that if my period goes out of whack I should cut back on days, since they don't even warn against it. That's why depending on my final result and how the rest of my body looks in comparison, like if I gain unwanted weight in my butt and hips, I may just switch and use another type of PM. I feel bad that a lot of people here haven't done well with it, I'm guessing it has something to do with differences of lifestyle, especially because what works for some doesn't work for everyone. Then again, the growth I have now, who knows if it will continue to grow from here. Someone suggested I start taking pictures, so I started that last week. The alternative I'm looking at most for the future is Bella's PM and now Purafem.

If you already have the pills, try the 14 on and break. Quite possibley why your periods are screwed up and lack of breast response. Just too much stuff in your system at the wrong time of month. Try full dose for 14 days on and see what happens,,, What do you think Eila? Didn't mean to be rude, I just know that product has had this forum fired up lately, thats all.

Hi Snowflake,
I took 3 capsules on Days 1,2,3 and therafter 4 capsules daily til Day 15, which was also when my period started again. The instructions said to consume not more than 4 capsules daily from Days 1 to 15. Each capsule is 125mg PM, 25mg Piper Nigrum Linn, 25mg Terminalia chebula rezt. I know not what the latter two ingredients are. I guess that puts my PM consumption on the 15 days as between 375 and 500mg. The brand is Puerarian, I haven't found reference to it on this forum, I think. Comes in a blue jar.

FatClara,,Ya I would think that is rather low dosage for PM. Where do you live? Maybe finish what you have and start looking for another brand. I know I used Full Potencial, had minimal PM in it along with fenugreek, saw Palmetto ans a few other things,, all it did was add weight and cellulite, was not impressed at all. took me along time, couple of months to get back to better weight. That product really sucked.

Hi Snowflake, I'm looking around this website to see which other PM I might get. I'm in Southeast Asia, so I am trying to order from somewhere nearer like Hong Kong, Taiwan, or Japan. The problem is some of those websites are in Chinese or Japanese and I can't read those. I came across an ebay seller who sells them from Thailand but I haven't heard anyone who used it with positive effect. I am keeping in mind Bellas, Purafem and the UK PM which has been mentioned here. FatClara

my period is late on PPM. I am in my second month of using it. I am on my 5th day, so if i stop now do you think this will cause problems? Bc I am already late so I can't see any more harm to stop.

PeriWinkle, please give more details. What product are you using? Are you 5th days on PM or 5th day off PM? Are you PMing 14 days and breaking? Are you on the pill? Sorry, but a very vague question will get a similar answer.

Wow, thank you everyone for your replies! I finally got it, but super late. I just ended it, and now I'm having break through bleeding...fail. I gained 2", but then lost about an inch of it for a couple of days, and now I'm swelling again. I wonder how much of it is actual growth. =/

Oh well, the PM saga will continue for the time being, and then I think I'm going to do a cleansing period and see if I lose any growth. That won't be for at least a few months, tho.

Thanks again, everyone!! Best wishes to you all!

Yeah, I was having probs with my period when I was still on PM. In the beginning it got longer and longer (with St Herb), then it corrected itself to the ideal 28 days on the low dose of PPM for a couple cycles, but then it shortened to 19 days one cycle before lengthening to what it used to be before I even started PM. ugh! I never knew when my period was coming anymore lol! This was part of the reason why I decided to just quit it.

Good luck girls...

Thanks Snowflake Smile I shall be switching brands as the current one has no follow-up support whatsoever, I sent them two emails and never got any reply. There is a phone number to call but I hesitate because chances are they will speak in Mandarin which I can't deal with. From what I've read, PM users experienced delayed periods. I seem to be the only one who experienced the reverse - early period, or maybe extra period. Geeez...

I am not sure if it will help. For those who has missed her period may be you could try taking milk thistle to clear the excessive phytoestrogen in your body. I started NBE late last year. I tried FG, wildyam, etc. It didn't affect my period at all. My period had always been v regular (28 - 30 days).

In July, I tried taking PM (1000mg per day). It's not Bellas brand but I adopted her method. I took PM on Days 7 -21. My period was 3 weeks late! I was worried and started taking milk thistle. I am not sure if it was a coincidence that my period was about to come or milk thistle really worked. My period came 3 days after I took milk thistle.

Altho I know PM messed up my period, I still wanna give it a try. My breasts are fuller and firmer. I think the PM breast serum I am using works. Together with the pills, it may generate better result. So this month I am taking half of the dosage (500mg a day) and see what effect it will have on my period. I am planning to take milk thistle again if my period is late again. Just wanna share my experience here. Hope it helps.

Pueraria - NO period - please help
August 25 2006 at 9:19 AM amysmiles4u (no login)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hey Beautiful people,
I am new to this forum after reading through it for about a month now it has helped me sooooo much its so reassuring to know theres alot of woman just like me out there in the same situation. So ive finally plucked up the courage to ask for your help.......
I am a 19, B cup amd On the pill

I have been on NBE for about 3 months now started taking Breast gain plus (yes i fell for it) spent a fortune and was depressed that i had no results, then read this forum an realised it was a rip off product, i no longer use it.

Ive now been taking Pueraria Mirifica 2x500mg a day from PuerariaWorld no 15 day break, i also chew on B2up gum three times a day which also contains pueraria and massage 2 x day pueraria cream and coco butter. I started this about 3 weeks ago and am amazed that i have fullness and a heavy feeling already, i just want a full B cup or maybe even a C to suit my curvy body.

However i was due a period last week apart from minor bleeding i have completely missed it, but am left with period pains, Should i be taking a 15 day break? i did not state this on the website, and should i start to take at certain times of the month??? Or is it due to me being on the pill??

I will be extremly grateful for any advice you may have :-) Thank you

Hi
i think if you read some of the other posts you'll find that most of us have experienced late periods. i was taking 2x 500mg Pm a day and then upped it to 3x a day. Been taking in total from mid may and my periods were getting a little later each time. i went on holiday for a week in august and had a break from PM which resulted in some breakthrough bleeding. I resumed PM when I got back but only 2x per day. My period was 8 days late and is heavy and very painful.I have now decided to do what a lot of the other girls do and what is suggested on the website I bought my PM from, and have 14 days taking PM and 14 days off. I also massage with coco butter and vit e which makes loads of difference. I would suggest maybe doing this too. I'm hoping it will not mess up my cycle too much by having a break every 14 days..

Hi girls
I started 14 days on 14 days off after my last period was 8 days late. I started taking my PM again on what was the 28th day of my cycle, I'm now on day 32 and still no period although I do feel a bit crampy and have a bloated stomach. I'm hoping that maybe things will settle down after this month.

PM and period
March 31 2011 at 2:46 PM sehn71 (Login sehn71)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hallo.

I have been taking PM from uk.com since Feb 2 2011. According to the website, I should take two a day (500 each).

Nobody told me when to take them (which day of period cycle) so when i took them i was in my 21st day of cycle.

But i had a delay in my period for one week. During that week i noticed that my breasts were slightly bigger than usual (shortly before i have my period they are swollen but this time they were a bit more)

So now i am in the second month of taking the PM. But this time my period delay is 16 days and i have not had my period yet.

I dont understand what is happening. Any advice?

Hi sehn71,

You should start take PM on the 1st day of your cycle. But somehow you can start it anytime because it is a herb and not medicine. So far, there is no exact dosage because everyone react differently to PM. I believe you have taken too much dosage for yourself. But dont worry because it doesnt harm you.

Try to lower the dosage and it will be normal. Smile

Peoples with hormonal imbalance or menopausal symptoms should take more PM for recovery while normal healthy young women should take minimum dosage. However, if you are going for Breast Enlargement, your period might be irregular for couple of months because you need higher dosage. PM only helps to enlarge your breast for the first 3 months. You should lower the dosage later for maintaining your breast firmness, beauty and health.

As most peoples know, the only 'side effect' is breast enlargement when you take PM. Smile
