TO EVE: Question about Oats (Avena Sativa)

Hi Y'all,
I have only been able to find Oat Bran here locally and I'm wondering if it's just as good as the Oat Seed that I've seen mentioned. The Active Ingredient on the bottle show it to be Oat Bran (Avena Sativa) (husk) 2550 mg (2.55g)
So, should I take it, or return it and order the Oat seed online? Whatchathink?

Isn't the husk the outer part like a skin on the seed that is usually thrown away? The product you have - is it supposed to be used for constipation? I'm pretty sure the oat Eve used and the oat in WU is avena sativa so you have the correct plant but I'm not sure that the husk will do anything.

Maybe Eve will be able to help?

Hey Louise, it doesn't say on the bottle what exactly it's used for. It says "The bran from oat grain is an established source of the soluble fiber beta-glucan. Oat bran has been shown to be a vital component of a healthy diet... blah blah blah".

Yep dietary fibre...sounds like it's for constipation!

See if Eve knows if you can just take the husk but don't open the bottle yet as I think it's likely she'll advise you to exchange it.

I have this:

I think it's the whole plant or at leat the whole seed (including the bran). That link also gives you a bit more info, I think it's the saponins that are good for boobs but there's lots of other good stuff in there too and the bran that you have also appears to help with cholesterol problems.

Thanks! Call me stupid, but how do I reach Eve? Do I just include her name in the title of my message?

That's probably enough, she logs in to put the new post on for anyone with no login name just about every day. If you get no response there's a site admin email address on the front page where the flower is (near the bottom) or you can try her program page.

Great! I'll see if she responds to this. I appreciate your help, Louise. You've been great throughout my entry into NBE. :-)

No worries - I'm literally 'tied' to this forum by the plastic tube that connects me to the BB machine! I have to lie down for 1 hour 2x daily and there's not much else I can do while the BB beats my boobs into submission. I also totally feel for anyone with small boob issues as it's been such a defining embarassment since I was about 14. Best of luck xx

I confirm that it wasn't the oat bran I took, it was the oat seeds - avena sativa seed. I'm sure the oat bran wouldn't be useful for breast enhancement.
