NBE has really helped me figuring out my hormones and now I am focusing more on my health hoping my breasts will benefit but it is not my main concern.
I was reading about zinc today and the importance of a zinc copper balance. I was also reading from what foods you get zinc and my jaws dropped. It is hard to get enough zinc from a vegetarian diet and it is less bioavailable. I knew this from iron, but not zinc. I have been a kind of vegetarian all my life. I just don't like fish and meat. So I am guessing I must have had a zinc deficiency since I was young if I reflect my diet. Zinc deficiency can give you copper excess since it is needed to balance copper out. And there is a link between excess copper and excess estrogen.
So I know my estogen is high for my progesterone (from blood test) and I have quite a few copper excess symptoms (f.ex. melasma).
I have tuberous breasts and the biggest difference I noticed while growing them was with good diet and supplementation. Perhaps zinc deficiency during all those years had something to do with this. I doubt it will cure my "deformity" but I am giving it a shot and see if I will have overall changes for the better, and bigger breasts along with it. I am just trying to eat good and supplement as little as possible. I will supplement zinc since I am not going to eat zinc rich food without throwing up and supplement with Maca as well.
Zinc deficiency is actually quite common so if you are a vegetarian I would definitly look into this. Just be careful. There is an upper limit.
