If you're hypoglycemic you shouldn't use either one alone either. It sounds like ellacraig is particularly sensitive so any amount that might be helpful for NBE would be too much.
Ellacraig, try sorting out your health first before trying any fenugreek or goat's rue at all. Whole grains are especially helpful. You could try other herbs while avoiding fenugreek, goat's rue, shatavari, wild yam and cinnamon. Others might be ok. But I suspect if you have one health problem then you might also have other health problems with other herbs. It would be best to take care of nutrition before any herbs at all.
Maybe a tiny bit of fenugreek seems ok for now but eventually even that may cause the same trouble. Better to drop them altogether. Sugar may help low blood sugar temporarily but it isn't a good long term solution and it seems like even that isn't enough anymore.
