If anyone's having trouble registering with the forum it might be because there's a possible issue with gmail. Just recently we're getting a lot of returned email from gmail saying that the receiver mailbox doesn't exist. Of course this might be because someone has entered their own email address incorrectly, but it seems odd that the returned emails are almost always from gmail and not from any other email providers. So basically if anyone's trying to register and not receiving the account activation email, then if you're a gmail user it might be worth trying a different email address instead and asking for the activation email to be resent.

It's almost 6 months since the above post, but unfortunately we're still having difficulties with gmail. I thought it was time to repeat the advice given above, that if anyone's trying to register with the forum and not receiving the account activation email which you need to activate your account, then you can try registering using a different email address (not a gmail address) and that should fix the problem. Alternatively you can just email us with your username and ask us to activate the account for you. This will also fix the problem as we can activate your account manually.
