Alternative papaya recipe
Ingredients: 5-10 fresh papayas, about 4 coconuts, water
Method:
1. Prepare the coconut milk – scrape the flesh out, then use the husks to squeeze the milk out of it.
2. Skin the fresh papaya with a knife
3. Cut into small pieces and place in a pot
4. Combine with coconut milk and dilute with enough water to fill from the bottom of the pot to about the level of where the pieces of papaya are in the pot.
5. Cook for an hour or so and serve.

I don't think what kind of milk it is matters very much. It's the papaya that counts.

This is how i make my papaya milk. i followed this drinks recipe from a chinese site.
First i cut a handful of green papaya (i use the one that u put in soup. make sure the skin n seeds is removed). Then i blitz it up in a juicer, put it in a pan with a cup of milk and some water, and then boil it til its hot. or alternatively, u can heat it all up together in the microwave but make sure the milk is hot. oh, u can also add sugar if u prefer it sweet.
hope this helps!

I vote for raw smoothie. I'm no expert, but surely there is no need to heat papaya at all?
