Body Acne on BO???

#1

Hello All!

This is my first post here. I've been on a BO routine for about a week and a half now. I take Swanson's BO (1500mg) and Pituitary (180mg), L - Tyrosine (500mg) and Kelp (? - 1 pill). I've noticed that I now have a rash all over my chest and a litle on my back. I'm thinking that it's acne. I know that it's not a hygene problem,,I take 2 showers a day and have never had this happen before. Has anyone ever had this issue? Is there anything that I can take to make it go away? I figure what good are new boobies if you can't show them off due to acne! LOL!

I never had that problem and I have sensitive skin and psoriasis. I do however get a rash or breakout in between my breasts, on my back, in the creases of my elbows and knees when I sweat alot, and no this has nothing to do with if you take a shower everyday. Mine is usually a psoriasis breakout, but even someone without psoriasis can get this type of rash when it's hot outside, when they workout alot, if they sweat in their sleep, etc. it's called a heat rash. I would just go to a doctor and have them look at the rash to be certain. But it could just be a heat rash. Don't voluntarily tell them you think it's because of a BO supplement you take, let them try to see what it may be first. Because trust me dr's can jump to conclusions just as easily as we do, remember they are "practicing" medicine. But as I said you could have a heat rash or something or you could have just developed a skin condition like mine. It can happen out of nowhere. Mine started when I was 6. My cousin however, hers didn't pop up until she was 16, she has psoriasis also. My son, he has it (it's often hereditary) his started when he was a baby. But yea, reason I'm thinking heat rash for you is because my hubby gets them. On his chest and back, just as you described. He works with a uniform on and a bullet proof vest (he's a cop) and often sweats all day in it, he also works out and sweats in those areas, and he gets heat rashes. He uses a cream prescribed by a dr and it's gone within a day. Same as my psoriasis break outs, I put a cream that is prescribed to me on, the next day it's gone. Hope this helps and good luck!

Thanks for the reply Anastasia! I figured out that I'm somehow allergic to coconut oil. That's what I've been massaging with. I thought it was going to be ok because it's all natural,...but my skin didn't agree with it at all. I went out and got some hydrocortisone cream and it went away immediately. I'm now using coco butter and it seems to be ok. I'm waiting on my noogleberry and am hoping that I don't get a rash from it or the foam that I'm going to try and pad it with! I swear I have the most sensitive skin known to man. Very annoying. Thanks again for the advice!
