Long time hops & FG user

I finished a pot of maca flour this morning. That was 300 g in 25+30+31+30+6=122 days, or 2,500 mg a day.

On March 19th, I decreased the maca dose from a heaped to a flat teaspoon. So my current dose is lower, 2,400 mg.

Yesterday I was feeling what I would call extremely hormonal. Sorta like slightly amp'ed and warm all over ... I even came across a few VERY SEXY stories about forced man-to-woman transformation and got extremely turned on ... but that's another story Blush

So anyway I was doing my morning web searching and came upon this article that talks about a woman's "cycle", the way that she may feel and why she may feel that way ... I thought it was kinda interesting ... even maybe helps understand why I may feel different things

Some of it looks familiar, yes. The first day after increasing hops, I felt more quiet. Right now, the energy returns. I tend to look at the levels of what I take, while it's actually the changes in the levels that matter.

I'm shedding more hair too. Maybe try barley grass after my tape day next Monday.

Thank you so much for your insights Isabelle. I went to buy EPO tonight its officially part of my new nbe program. I am so excited about this journey and I believe with a positive attitude and discipline, my babies will be bouncing by December.

and he mentioned using Licorice Root...I bought it today and after some researching, I found out that it should not be used together with Red Clover.

I think Red Clover does good things to my nbe so I decided I will just use the Licorice Root as a cream mixed with my lotion.

Also I found out that my Agnus Castus increases progesterone and lowers prolactin...The ability to decrease excessive prolactin levels may benefit infertile women, that is why AC is used for fertility. I understand I need prolactin increaser such as Fenugreek and progesterone at the same time...at one point I want to give up AC but Im taking it for my pcos, so let's see if taken together with the rest of the herbs will work.

Sometimes I think why dont we all just take DHEA supplements to increase our estrogen production, like this one guy's breast start to develop due to DHEA supplements

You're welcome Sophia,

There's no real problem with licorice and red clover as long as the doses are low, especially licorice. Red clover is 50/50 phyto-estrogens/phyto-progestins. Licorice is similar, and in addition it's and anti-androgen and it ups prolactin. Both herbs may work well for PCOS, but women without PCOS will just stall on so much progestins.

DHEA grows breasts only in combination with an anti-androgen. Maca is supposed to up DHEA.

Hi Isabelle,

I've been experimenting "AGAIN" and I need your help in trying to figure this one out.

On June 4th I stopped taking all herbs (just took my Testim). I continued not using any herbs for 18 days ... everything went back to "maleness" ... no more boobs, and starting to return to being more "short tempered" than I like to be.

So then on June 22nd I decided to start taking herbs again.

I have been taking:
- Natures Answer Liquid Hops Extract
- Natures Way Fenugreek Seed Capsules
- Natures Way "Standardized" Saw Palmetto Extract GelCaps
- Licorice Tea ... made strong (2 bags in a decent sized mug)

I slowly ramped up quantities until I got to where I am at for the past two days

I've listed below what I took and when (REMEMBER I DON'T STALL)

July 6th and 7th … Day 16/17 of NBE

- 6:20 AM … 8,000 mg Hops Extract in Oatmeal
- 6:25 AM … 2 - 160mg Capsules of Standardized SP

My boobs already have that tingly awareness this morning. (6:30 AM)

- 6:45 AM … 1 ½ tubes of Testim

It’s 7:25 AM … I’m feeling a little rushy and sweaty.

- 9:38 AM … 6 610mg FG Capsules
- 11:51 AM … Mug of Licorice Tea made with 2 Bags of Alvita Brand Tea.
- 2:00 PM … 2 - 160mg Capsules of Standardized SP
- 3:20 PM … ½ tube of Testim
- 6:00 PM … 4,000 mg Hops with Yogurt
- 7:45 PM … 2 - 160mg Capsules of Standardized SP
- 8:30 PM … 2 FG Capsules

I woke up around 9:30 PM feeling "rushy" . My boobs are feeling big!!!
Went back to sleep around 10:30 PM … slept crappy all night.
I’m sleeping around an hour at a time.
Lots of dreams … not sexual just intense and strange.
Felt warm again all night and had a hard erection almost all night.

I’m also very horny …

So to list my symptoms:
- Feel flushed and warm most of the time … especially face and ears
- Mood is pretty calm and stabile
- Normal amount of energy
- An “awareness” to my breast region … hard to explain but it’s like I am “more aware” of having a chest than usual
- No swollen ankles
- Not sleeping well
- Boobs seem to be getting more fatty tissue sent to them
- Most times nipples are very soft and often have Montgomery glands popping out, other times they are sticking out and my nipples and areola are very rubbery feeling
- Lots of spontaneous erections
- Extremely horny
- Nipples feel very sensitive when my robe brushes over them
- Very into reading stories about “forced” man-to-woman gender changes


I’m kinda confused … I would expect my DHT to be getting lower and my Estradiol to be getting higher based on what I am taking and what I noticed as I ramped up … yet my libido seems higher and my erections are like the energizer rabbit.

What do you think? Any ideas?

You sure know how to play Big Grin

It looks a lot like the recipe I took for a night out in drag. The hidden factor is the oat meal. Not only how much you take matters, but also how long you have been taking it for. Your SHBG may be very low by now, so you have more free testosterone and more free DHT and more estrogens. So now you are somewhere between a stallion and a woman at the height of menopause in an estrogen rush.

High estrogen causes the hot flashes, the tender breasts and fast growth, the awareness of your breasts, and the insomnia. You've got to be pretty high to get insomnia from estrogens. SP may contribute to that too. Apparently, you have managed to keep estrogen dominance at bay with FG alone. The symptoms are estrogen excess without estrogen dominance. The testim keeps you high above the stalling limit.

At the levels you are using now, hops is better than weed. The sedative effect lasts only about an hour. Then you're noticing the dopamine rush, the binding to the serotonin receptor, and the lively dreams. Hops also increases prolactin, so you keep the swelling. Dopamine and prolactin normally balance: when one is high, the other is low. Lots of hops breaks that balance.

You are getting a lot of oxytocin too from the play. It causes contractions to drive the milk out. You feel them. There is also a balance between oxytocin and androgens. Oxytocin suppresses the aggressive response to DHT. So the DHT doesn't feel like it normally does. It only affects your overall mood and sex drive, not aggression, dominance, or temper. That could explain your interest in forced fem.

The high estrogens keep the cortisol low. That is another pair of hormones that normally balance each other. Estrogens metabolize faster than cortisol. Keep filling up. The cortisol can keep you stressed out for two or three weeks after the estrogens drop. It may be better to wean estrogens over the same period. How high cortisol is depends on your activity level. You're burning a lot of calories now, and you can't get tired.

Been taking the Oatmeal for about 5 days now ... every morning and about 1 1/2 cups each time.

Explains why I would fall asleep and wake up around an hour later feeling "rushy"

I tweaked it a little this morning ... and I'm probably gonna make a decent change for the evening go around .....

Here's this morning

• 7:06 AM … 3 - 160mg Capsules of Standardized SP … 1 more than yesterday
• 7:37 AM … 1 Menohop Capsule … did not take yesterday
• 8:25 AM … 6,000 mg Hops Extract in Oatmeal … 2,000 mg LESS than yesterday
• 8:30 AM … 1 tube of Testim … ½ tube less than yesterday

More SP to suppress more DHT ... threw in Menohop just to keep things interesting. 2,000 mg less Hops and 1/2 tube less Testim ... which will overall lower Free T .... but still will result (I hope) in less DHT and More Estradiol

End result (I'm thinking) .... More towards Estrogen Dominance ... less Stallion .....

FG will come in about an hour

I'm hoping that the DHT Blocking by the SP is more than the DHT blocking that I loose by reducing Hops ... Should I keep the Hops at 8,000? Is Hops or SP Blocking stronger?

After thinking about it I decided to have 2,000 mg Hops with Yogurt.

So my morning Hops is the same (Anti-androgen and phytoestrogen effects are the same)

SP (Anti-androgen) is 1 1/2 times more

Testim is 1/3 less ... meaning 1/3 less Free T

I don't know if saw palmetto or hops is the stronger 5α-reductase inhibitor. But at the levels you are on, it doesn't matter: you only have as much 5α-reductase as you have. I don't think you will feel a difference between 90 % and 99 % inhibition.

I had never read about the suppression of aggression by oxytocin either. It's proven for cortisol,

but for oxytocin, Aart de Kruif stated it as a hypothesis in his book "Typisch testosteron" (typically testosterone). His wording, in my translation, is: "Even though it's not proven yet, one could presume that a high oxytocin concentration counteracts the negative effect that testosterone can have on behavior, just like cortisol does." Throughout the book, he makes the distinction between testosterone and DHT only once, but in relation to aggression, I assume he means DHT. The book would be good reading for you if it gets translated.

Thank you for the numbers on oat meal. 1 1/2 cup is a lot, but the five days are a pleasant surprise to me. It opens possibilities for a ritual without testim or maca. 10-25 % of the calorie intake as flax seed increases SHBG after 1, 3, and even 6 months. If, on the first day of the vacation, flax seed would be replaced by oats, all the testosterone, DHT, and estrogens that have been saved up by binding to the SHBG, could be released in a matter of days Big Grin

hey isabelle,

so i usually mix the following...

1/2 tsp fenugreek
1/2 tsp saw palmetto
1/2 tsp wild yam
1/2 dandelion root
1/2 hops
1/2 maca

...together in a cup, throw some hot water on it ( its disgusting i know but i'm motivated lol) and drink it in one shot. Is it okay to mix all the herbs together and take it like that or it is better to ingest each herb separately?

In addition, i know when hops is ingested in different ways it can be a phytoestrogen OR an anti-androgen. when it is ingested with food it becomes a phytoestrogen correct? to ingested with food would i just throw it into whatever i'm eating or would i swallow the hops by itself then eat right after? Sorry if the questions may be stupid, just wanted to be sure of what I am doing.

btw, say for example if I add red clover to this regimen, would the combination including the red clover allow me to have estrogen excess but not be estrogen dominant since red clover is 1/2 phytoestrogen and 1/2 phyto-progestin?
