journey from a 34AA

Hi lled34aa,
Thanks for the sugguestion, yes I taped the nipples down since week 4, so I think I may not a lucky one...Smile I tried not to suck the air hard today, just a little bit more than the smartbox, And I still feel a lot of pain at my stenum... I think I should try to change position of the domes tonight. Thanks for advise and keep update about your progress.

thanks notsobusty. breaking out of the AA category and into an A is SOO hard! as an AA, i feel like i can almost be mistaken for a guy's body. sometimes i see guys with man boobs larger than my own boobs. not that i admire his manboobs, but it makes me feel so ashamed of my body.

anyways, 2 new small updates. first of, the tape i've been using to tape down my nipples makes that whole area sooooooooooo itchy! ridiculously itchy! it seemed to build up day after day until last night when i took off my bra, i couldn't stop scratching the areas around my nipples. interestingly, after i applied the domes and started the suction, the itchiness went away. seems like the more deflated i am, the itchier... when my boobs are pumped up or swollen, they are less itchy. i wonder if it's my skin's reaction to the tape, or if it's because my skin's being stretched out?

i got the loose leaf goat's rue and have been drinking that the last 2 days. it's hard for me to tell if i'm getting swelling of it since most of the day, i'm retaining a little bit from swelling from brava. i have been getting a little bit of breast sensations though, but not sure if it's related. i think i'm going to continue drinking it since i really like the taste of the tea, and it also lowers blood sugar level.

i take it back, i think i AM feeling an effect of the goat's rue tea. i've been getting strange sensations around my nipples... i wouldn't call it pinching and it's not a dull ache... i just feel something happening (and it is not painful.) hopefully this is a positive sign of growth. fingers crossed!

i should add, i am drinking A LOT of goat's rue tea. if i have to guess, i would say around 5g-10g a day. i don't have a measuring scale so i'm just guessing. i bought a 2oz bag and i looks like i can finish it within a week... so roughly 8g a day?

the NBE journey is such a roller coaster ride. there are days when i'm feeling great and full of hopes, then there are days like today when i'm doubtful and feeling hopeless. so i went looking back at my old photos. i like to compare photos for an objective perspective on things rather than going by how i'm feeling at the moment.

i'm posting a photo of my progress i made in the last year. it seems i HAVE grown. i had forgotten how FLAT i was last year! this is a good photo comparison for me to go back to every time i start to feel discouraged.

i've been taking TONS of my photos throughout my whole NBE journey. what i learned is that 3/4 view is best to show growth. frontal photos are tricky... it's harder to pick up on the small changes in the curvature of the breasts when you're looking at them straight on. you end up relying on the shadow, which is deceptive since variations in lighting can drastically change the look of your breasts.

Congratulations, lled Smile

That is growth. And roundness. And speaking of the shadow: it looks like cleavage. Yeayy!!

Hi Lled,
Wow, what a difference! You have definitely achieved good results. Is the first photo of you at the very beginning of NBE before you had any growth?
I am glad that you are enjoying the GR tea. I also like the taste. It does not seem to do much for me during the period but I should see some swelling next week again. 1 teaspoon (I use a measuring spoon) is about 900 mg of GR, according to my scale, so you can check how many spoons you use for your tea. I usually use about 2 measuring teaspoons per cup. I bought a bag of 500 g of goat's rue for less than EUR10 and it will last me for a very long time. It is definitely cheaper than capsules and seems too work just as good or may be even better than capsules.

thanks Isabelle, and yes, I do love my new little bit of shadow between my breast Big Grin

the left photo from April 2011 was actually me 7 months into NBE with zero progress. i have photos earlier than that and they all look equally flat. it wasn't until may 2011 that I started PM and went on thyroid medicine to help my hypothyroidism that I started to grow what little I have now. I think one day I will do an epic timeline of my NBE journey - a real account of a boobie obsessed 30 yr old's struggle to grow breasts wherein all circumstances are stacked against her. ha! hopefully I will have an A cup by then. if not, it will just prove that NBE really does not work for everyone because I know I've given this 200%

today is my 2nd day of my cycle. my period is ultra heavy this month! it is usually very light so this is unusual for me. I was drinking greenbush tea the week leading to my period and I was getting really bad cramps. also, my period came 1 day early. I wonder if the goats rue tea has anything to do with this? I stopped the greenbush tea for now and am back on PM.

I just did a 24hr brava session! couldn't believe I last that long. first thing I wanted to do after taking off the domes was jump in the shower! I did manage to take photos right after. the swelling was HUGE at first but in just a couple of minutes, they seemed to deflated down to the same swelling I had when I did the 17hr stint. I'm not convinced it was worthed doing the whole 24hrs. my goal is to average above 12hrs a day. I figure that way, my breasts spend more time swelling and less time deflating.

Wow congrats on your growth! Looks like you got some killer abs too!

thanks himegirl! i work hard on trying to stay fit because it's the only way for me to feel good about my body... gotta keep the belly from protruding out more than the boobs haha. my ultimate goal is to have a four pack.

it's around day 10 of my cycle. all the breast sensations have gone away. I'm still drinking as much goat's rue tea as before. so I dunno if the sensations were from just me being in my luteal phase, or the herb tea I was drinking during my luteal phase... I've been taking milk thistle once a day for the past week.... that could also be the culprit. I'm going to stop the milk thistle, see if the breast sensations come back... If not, I will try getting back onto the herbal tea.

during luteal phase of last cycle, my breasts measured around 32.5" before I put brava on at night. Then once my cycle reset, I was back down to 32.25"... today, I'm between 32.25-32.5".... hopefully by the end of this cycle, I can push the 32.75" mark.

seems like I'm getting less and less pressure from the smart box... I've had to manually suck out the air more often these days. is it just me, or does it seem like the smart box was only designed to function properly for 10 weeks?

my 10 weeks brava update:

I am noticing more breast tissues when I wash them at night before putting on brava. I'm happy to notice progress, but I am still not a true 34a yet. this means I have to do at least 15 more weeks maybe. I can see why brava has such bad reputation... If you're just following their program of wearing it for 10 to 12 weeks, I can see the success rate being very low. but since I'm making steady (but very slow) progress, I plan on wearing brava until I at least get to a full 34a.

im pretty used to wearing brava now. no more pain... and with aloe very gel, my ring marks fade within 2 to 3 hours, then I have around 4 hours of nice swollen boobs with no rings. Big Grin
