Hi,
I have been working on a program for 3 weeks now - have seen maybe a little firmness and swelling of 1/2 in up and down.
I'm not expecting really rapid results given that my heart only works at about 60-70% full capacity due to congenital heart disease and I have to take diuretics to prevent fluid build up in my stomach and lungs. If I don't take this medication I look like I am 6 months pregnant within 3 days! I am also on warfarin and an oral contraceptive so herbal supplements are out for me. You would be surprised at how many things interact with warfarin (even fish oil!)
On the plus side I am otherwise fairly healthy and only 30 years old.
So my program has included these things:
- Daily massage of 20-30mins with flaxseed oil. This seems to be producing a bit of swelling
- Blake talks hypnosis - it's hard to fit in but I try my best. It has been interesting to talk with my teenage 'self.' I wore a back brace in high school so I think I was eager to stop growing because it would mean that I didn't need the brace anymore!
- General exercise/ weights etc
- Following a healthy diet and including more phytoestrogens in my diet. I have been looking to tigerlily's page for advice (being careful to avoid foods high in vitamin K due to warfarin interactions).
I realize this would probably take some time due to my medical condition and the methods used, so I chose things that should be fairly sustainable and at least not harmful in the long term!
My starting point - weight - approx 100lbs, height 5' 3", underbust 29.5in, bust 33.5in. Size 32B/34A
