How to Snub a Snob

Step 1-PAY THEM NO MIND

Most snobs are ego-maniacs. They thrive on attention. Take it away and they will be like half-naked weaklings, whining away in a cold, violent storm. Snobbery thrives on when there are accomplices.

Step 2-MAKE THEM IRRELEVANT

Another thing a snob dreads is irrelevance. Pompous people seek to be in the middle of everything. They deflate other people's ego with ridicule and tasteless jokes. A good crowd will not go with the theatrics of a snob.

Step 3-ANSWER WITH WIT

If you absolutely have to deal with them, give snobs answers they deserve. Use their own reasoning to thrash them. Make them uncomfortable by exposing their pride with subtle humor.

Step 4-EXPOSE THEIR PRETENSIOUNESS

Or you can face it headlong and say exactly how you feel. Make it known you do not like that kind of attitude. Stand up for the small guy or girl. Rebuke the snob in the presence of the person he/she just snubbed. Make them regret their obnoxiousness.

Step 5-GANG UP ON THEM

What a snob dreads is a gang of people who are not afraid to expose them. If you have friends who feel the same way, let the snob know how you feel. Shut him/her down by letting them know what they are doing to people. Use ridicule to bring them down to earth. If that changes the attitude, fair enough. If not, it is better to have a party without the stench of snobbery. People have to learn how to treat other people with dignity.
