Brava Concerns

#2

I started using Brava, on sort of an erratic schedule.

Day 1 - I had it on for 4 hours just to test it out. My areolas and nipples looked a pale, dusty purple, and more puffy than usual.

Day 2 - Another 4 hours. I put band aids on top of my nipples, which worked well.

I had slight swelling after each of those days, which went back to normal by the end of the day.

Day 3 - 8.5 hours. I tried to sleep with it, but my boobs were literally DRIPPING sweat inside those domes. I finally had to take them off at 5:30am. Right after I took it off, a wave of cold sweats and nausea hit me. Has anyone experienced that before? Is that normal?

Later that day, I noticed some dried clear fluid that had come out of the bumps on my areolae. Has anyone else had this?

I had much more swelling today, some of which lasted until I put the contraption on again. It was 15 hours between the time I took it off and put it on again.

Day 4 - Which is right now. I'm gonna try for 10 hours, but we will see. But my areolae are SO ITCHY. I searched high and low online about this, but I only end up on pregnant lady forums. I had to take off the domes twice already to itch them, and I even tried hydrocortisone cream, to no avail. I've had the domes on for about 3 hours so far. How do I fix this?

Besides the itchiness, I'm chillin' in these things. Any help would be appreciated!!

The brava works on a suction principle. The battery operated pump keeps it at a proper pressure. If using the manual suction way and your nipples turn purple you have too much suction. Either way your nipples will become puffy that is normal. The sweat is part of the process. It means that the heat of your body is concentrating to the breast area this helps the estrogen receptors to expand. I havent experienced any nausea. but the chilling effect is because of the breast heating than being exposed to air.
As for the fluid at the areola bumps a little will appear, this means your developing breast tissue. As for the itch its something I put up with the itch goes away after awhile. But I would check with you doctor and see it your alergic to to certian plastic or silicone.
