I see to be getting that way with a lot of things. Music I LOVED and grew up with just isn't as good as I remembered it. Certain movies and t.v. shows I used to CRAVE, now, aren't as cool as I used to think they were.
Maybe you'll get there, too, in about 20 years.

Im getting that way. Big fan of 80's rock. All rock seems dissapointing now. Tv and movies too. Not liking the direction they are going too. In my country 50% of tele nowis reality shows. Cooking and home reno is the latest buzz :s followed shortly by cop and violence related shows.

What passes for music today just ain't cutting it!! A FEW good bands, but not many. Pop princesses? Who needs `em???? All they do is lip sync to pre-recorded crap and command top dollar for doing it!!
I love early `80's stuff, too!!!! Second (if at all) only to late `60's stuff, psychedelic music, the most creative music there ever was!!!!
I stopped watching telly years ago, but mom still has it on in the next room all night and it sounds BORING AS HELL!!!! I think Dancing With The Stars is on 24/7 now, isn't it? And then there's the Raymond channel that only plays "Everybody Loves Raymond" all bloody day!!!!
We all need to send them a message!!! Turn it the fuck OFF and get on with something FUN in your life!!!! "Gee! Why aren't they watching our mind-numbing t.v. shows anymore?" We finally grew a BRAIN!!!!
Watch the movie, "Network", it'll give you a nice big clue!!
