I'm actually going to hold off and DIY the bands I have already. When I grow, I'm hoping to look for sister sizes because for someone my size, it would actually be less costly. I think it's crazy to spend so much on bras and actually use some of my mom's because we are technically the same size, but I now know that we wear the wrong band. I figure I can save some money by figuring out how to take in the band size myself so I don't feel so awful when I am left with almost no cute bras in my size while shopping. Does anybody else have that problem?

I feel exactly the same!! When I go bra shopping the bras in my real size practically don't exist, and the nearest size I can fit in only has all the bling bling diva styles, or are so heavily padded my boobs can't fit. Due to the padding I ask for a cup size larger aaaaaand THERE'S NO SIZE. Ugh.

DIY bra band altering it is then
