Can I take a crack at this? First and foremost, there are far too many guys out there that just never grow up and continue to treat others with little to no respect. Then there's another lot that never saw a role model treat a woman with honor and chivalry so they're a little clueless, although it's not really hard to figure out - just go watch a couple chick flicks for goodness sake. These are a few reasons why I hate being associated with my birth gender. However, there's also a biochemical reason for some of the behavior. Girly girls get to blame a bunch of stuff on hormones and rightly so but guys are no different. Their bonding hormones aren't as abundant as a typical female and their brains are not wired for feelings and communication. That's why a typical female will utter 25,000 words per day while males are spent somewhere around 10,000 words (or so I've been told). ...On the other hand, it sounds like your friend "A" just picked a douche bag for a boy friend??? Better luck next time.
