I've been doing this for some time and its great..... trying to do anything wearing standard Noogleberry type domes and having that hand pump hanging there is a pain.... so I bought a couple valves and some tubing and eliminated the hand pump all together... Went to the local pet store and bought some fish air system valves ... and cut my air hose just above the Y..... and installed the valve.. now you can still use the hand pump and close the valve and remove the pump... or you can just use your mouth and suck the air out of the domes then shut the valve. My system is so air tight that they stay compressed for half an hour or more. You can even put valves on each dome and do them independently .... makes doing chores wearing my domes a lot easier!
