After finding this forum I definitely wouldn't consider getting surgery anymore in the future! I always used to think NBE was just a scam but the forum really proved to me otherwise. 
I talked to my mum about it today and she said that I could try UB if I really wanted and I was sure it was what I wanted to do but she also said any side effects are my own problem that I'd have to sort out with the doctor myself. She also thinks that the Noogleberry is ridiculous after I explained how it works to her, even though I think the people here are proof that it does work! I don't think she'll ever let me get it. I'm putting in an order for UB tomorrow and kelp! I'm monitoring my morning temperatures every morning until my pills get here. I really hope customs lets it through!
