BO Questions for a possible new BO Plunge

Progestins are synthetic versions of progesterone. Progestins have a chemical make-up similar to progesterone. These compounds bind to the progesterone receptors in cells but they are unable to deliver the entire message. They are only able to direct the cell to perform a limited amount of the progesterone message. The progesterone hormone receptor complex is very specific. If one carbon atom of progesterone is changed, the message to the target tissue is also changed. Progesterone is metabolized to estrogen, testosterone and cortisol in women. Progestins, altered progesterone molecules, can create a roadblock in this cascade. The altered structure of progestins not only affects the progesterone message; it also results in unwanted side effects. However, the short-term use of Progestins is helpful in treating vaginal bleeding and protecting the uterus from cancer caused by estrogen exposure.

btw, this web site has some brief descriptions of some of the glandulars i found informative http://www.doctorsresearch.com/prod_simply.html i'm taking some swanson glandulars now but i can't tell you much more than this web page will.

I haven't had any issues with the progesterone yet, and I've had the implant for about 9 months, but I noticed that since I got it, I haven't seen as much growth. I have a program thread, when I wasn't on BC I gained like, 3 inches in about 4 months, then I got the implant and I have gained an inch in about 3 months, and I'm not getting much in the ways of swelling either. I know how the synthetic hormones and such work, I did about 4-5 years of research before I started NBE, but it was all herb research, so now that I want to make the switch, I'm needing new info for BO. Sorry but the site doesn't seem to help me much with an NBE perspective. Does BO not have an estrogen/progestin/anti-androgen/etc base like herbs do? Is there a specific combo that people usually see results with? I've been reading through the archive(and a few websites) and I've not learned much other than body temp is a key player, I shouldn't touch the pituitary gland and I should ingest protein shakes instead of just eating protein. In fact that site leads me to more questions, like the adrenal and hypothalamus would be like taking pituitary so I shouldn't touch them either because of my age, correct? The ovary excerpt just doesn't give much info.

EDIT: OH I have a mac and I guess my track pad wasn't working fully, and I didn't see all the info at the bottom. I'm reading it now, hopefully that helps me out a bit, if you know of any other sites with info like this, please let me know!
