It could be that Progesterone lowers the pituitary gland from putting out LH and FSH which help cause menstruation. In other words, it may be because of too much progesterone; this imbalance may also limit NBE by decreasing sensitization. It may be good to take a break, and be cautious when trying NBE. Cycling is a good idea, and it's a good idea to limit it during certain times of the cycle.
Cycle Progesterone and Prolactin herbs.
Cycle, but limit LH and FSH herbs, along with Aromatase. (LH and FSH herbs help with menstruation; they also increase estrogen and testosterone; aromatase is to convert extra testosterone into estrogen).
Prolactin helps increase Progesterone during the luteal phase, so this is something to consider.
Be careful with the progesterone to estrogen balance. Regular menstruation is one indicator (but not necessarily a guarantee) that hormones are balanced.

It seems that the fertility issue is temporary, but continued excess imbalance of Progesterone is a risk for sterility, by shrinking the gonads until they become inactive. There's not much to worry about, since it is normal for menstruation to stop during pregnancy and nursing although during this time there are forms of estrogen balancing out progesterone and prolactin. It is also normal for menstruation to be irregular during early puberty too.
