It's probably nothing, because it is normal for the cycle to vary by ± 7 days. There's a such thing as an imbalance of too much progesterone, but that takes a lot to cause problems; and there's conditions where high progesterone is normal as I wrote above. It's probably possible to have an imbalance of any hormone.
For the luteal phase, it'd be good to use topical aromatase such as peony, lavender or tea tree along with a progestogen (such as clover or fenugreek).
If you're worried about wanting menstruation to start, spearmint tea can help, but too much mint is a worry if you're concerned about pregnancy.
