Hi tiny lady, it's so good to hear from you. Big Grin So sorry to hear about the fibroadenoma, their very frustrating, annoying and scary, I have some painful lumps too. It's possible progesterone therapy can ease hormone levels back to normal, which can help mitigate the pain, maybe size?. Some possibilities include a luteal phase defect in progesterone, estrogen (HrT) or a hypersensitivity to estrogen. Caffeine, chocolate, and dietary fat intake also can impact fibroadenomas, (from information I've read so far). Inflammation inside our bodies produces so many sides it's no joke, free radicals due damage on a cellular level that gets out of control. Reducing the inflammatory response can help us repair damage, meaning omega 3's, imo, krill oil over fish oil, which has hidden triglycerides in some supplements, that's going in the wrong direction. I'll post more when I get a chance. Smile I've missed yah!, we should catch up. Wink

Here's some home remedies thats out there.

* Place an ice pack on your breast to help with bruising and discomfort. Leave the ice pack on for 20 minutes, then remove the ice pack and place it in the freezer for 10 minutes.

* One of the oldest and the most effective remedy is to apply hot compress to the breasts. Place a towel soaked in castor oil on the affected area and place a heating pad on top of it. Hold this in place for at least an hour for maximum results.

* Alternatively, massage your breasts regularly with plain castor oil. You can also apply castor oil that is mixed with herbs or essential oils or evening primrose oil. Massaging your breast also helps you to keep track of the changes that occur in your breasts.

Another thing that is known to help is adding fresh ginger to your tea and drinking that regularly. To make sure that these lumps do not form again, there are a few dietary changes that you need to make. Follow a diet that is low on fats and meat, and high in fiber and soya products. Also, increase the intake of olive oil and fatty fish in your diet. Avoid drinking alcohol altogether but if you can’t then at least keep your alcohol consumption to the minimum. Cut down on your consumption of caffeine and chocolates as well. Your diet should include flax seeds, flax seed oil, and fish oil. Take daily supplements of vitamin C and E as these supplements help in the reduction of excess estrogen. Excess amount of estrogen is known to cause lumpiness and pain in the breast.

Some fibroadenomas have receptors and respond to growth hormone and epidermal growth factor. Which is why they react to HrT, stress, dietary intake, ect.
