Oh yeah I should add that the rat megadose equals around 100-150 grams in humans, possibly more, with no toxicity. Human studies, recommendations and successful NBE programs are typically around 6 to 25 grams (with the amazing NBE stories toward the high end). So it may be safest to stay within that range. With a 30-50% saponin extract this can be reduced to half a gram to 2.5 grams, and it's easier to stomach. It's not the same as other herbs where their range is often 0.5 to 2 grams. For all of these programs with this little (and no other saponin herbs or other herbs) I read of little or no effect every single time. Hypoglycemics shouldn't use saponin herbs at all as even 3 grams can cause them trouble.
