My Kang Zhu came with a pump and a hose. I am able to use the pump with or without the hose. Each end of the hose has a plastic thingy that attaches one end into the pump and the other to the opening on the cup. If I don't want to use the hose, I can just pull it out of the end of the pump and use the pump directly onto the cups.
By the way, even if you don't set the air lock the air still stays in pretty well. I didn't even know it had an airlock for the first couple weeks of using it lol. And it still worked fine.
I don't think you would have a problem getting them to work together. In massage school we used 3 different cupping sets from different brands with just one pump/hose and it fit them all fine. They seem to be interchangeable.
