WaxingMoon: Question about Ginkgo

Hello,
I'm inclined to think that I have bad circulation. My feet are almost always cold and my body temperature is 97.2 (temperature taken externally, under arm). So.......what I wanted to ask is how much of ginkgo biloba are you taking per day? I was looking in your routine but I didn't find any mention of it, although you've mentioned that ur taking it in other posts. Also, why did you not choose to use cayenne pepper?

Hi Ann, I'm also one of the people taking ginko biloba. I take 120 mg per day, which is I believe extract. If you take whole herb, you should multiply the extract value by 4. In my first and one half of my second cycle since I added it, it made a huge difference, I wasn't cold anymore at all and I got growing pains for the first time ever. But towards the end of the second the pains subsided and I was a bit more cold again (thogugh not as I used to be). Then in the third cycle I got some pains again, which is rather strange. I'm not sure whether my body got used to GB, I guess I should wait and see till the end of this cycle. I'm also planning to use cayenne, as soon as I can get a hold on some. I added GB because I couldn't buy cayenne anywhere, but I think cayenne is just as good or maybe even better, but a combination of these two or some other herbs known for circulation benefit must be the most effective.

Thanks for replying Moon, btw there's a few moons on board, huh?
Not to mention a lot of Ann's, Annas, etc.

Anyhow, I'm thinking I might just go with cayenne because when I search ginkgo I find it helps more with memory more than circulation. So, I guess my search is on for dosage and pricing for that. Anyone on the board taken/taking cayenne?

I am taking cayenne...I only take one pill per day, with food, because it can be very spicy on the tummy. Watch out for that. I do believe that it helps with circulation, and 2 or 3 pills a day would probably be even better. Just read the back of the bottle, I guess. Another thing about cayenne, is that it is supposed to increase the effectiveness of other herbs that are taken with it, and this will be very good for NBE, I would think. All around a great herb, just watch out for your stomach.

Oh, great. Thanks Corrie. I'll keep that in mind.
I'll be doing my liver flush this week and I can't wait to get started with my routine.
Booby blessings to you all.
