Hello,
Whist resarching about other boobie enhancment methods, i came across a new procedure that is currently only taking place in france. Im not sure on the details, but they inject something called marcolene ( not sure on how its spelt!) into the breasts rather than implants, I'm quite curious about it.. jus wondering if any other ladies have heard about this and know any more?
growing wishes to u all!

It's Macrolane, and it's a Swedish patent. The substance is hyaluronic acid in gel form. It's the same as Restylane that is used for filling in wrinkles in the face, only with larger components to make it more firm in the consistency. Still on trial though, isn't it? Needs refilling every so often so it's not permanent.

The last time I heard about this, it had not been approved by the EU and therefore can't be made generally available yet. It needs more trials.

They are still testing it so it's not officially used yet.

They actually have found many substances that can cure cancer, but since they are not pharmacuticals and there is no money to be made, you will never see the headlines.

This sounds so good, I'd do it if it was available, I wouldn't care if it's officially approved or not. A lot better than implants, since thins is a natuiral compound that is normally present in the connective tissue. I got the info that in France where it's being performed for testing the price is 2500 ⬠for one treatment.

Actually Moon, I think you do care whether it's officially approved or not, because if it's not officially approved you can't have it. It's as plain and simple as that. At the moment it has an approval for use with breast deformities but not for breast augmentation, so the initial availability of the procedure in France that's being talked about is only in cases of breast deformity. This concept is not new by the way, as the Swedish company developing it have been issuing press releases on it since at least 1999.

There isn't a great deal of information on that page, just a brief description. The main point is that the procedure is expected to be available before long and that it would probably cost around 2500 Euros.

The results are NOT permanent. hyaluronic acid is gradually absorbed by the body itself so one would have to do this treatment every six months or so to maintain. Then it would become very expensive.

It says with macrolane it's 1 to 2 years, as it's got bigger molecules. Still that's very expensive, one treatment as much as a regular boob job.
